4 years later. A state legalized marriage of same-sex couples. I believe to this day this storyline with Bianca played a role in the beginning for the fight of lgbt rights . 2003-2004 the first kiss and love scene on day time and later same-sex marriage became legal in a state. Bianca is a amazing character that shattered the glass , ground breaking iconic

this is a truthful account of a teenager dealing with the world and homosexuality, and all you can talk about is their friendship or how cute leo is. i hope if one of your friends comes to you with this, you take the feelings being poured out as more important than the comments listed here.

What was important here was that Bianca finally felt safe with someone enough to tell her truth. Her bravery in this scene was extraordinary. By a lesser token, but by no means unimportant, Leo's love and acceptance of who Bianca was played a vital role in who she became. You can never discount your friend's support when you're trying to be your most honest self.
