It's too bad Mona didn't live long enough to see Bianca and Kendall give Erica PAYBACK for all of the hell she put her through. Erica was a primo bitch to Mona so many times. And her daughters rocked her narcissistic world.

Erica did not put Bianca through any hell she was overly protected but cared about her child's welfare. Bianca put Erica through hell by wishing her to die instead of Travis. She's a spoiled brat.

Erica was overprotective but her heart was in the right place. Her father abandoned her when she was little and her mom Mona was also protective of her after her rape at 14. Better to be too smothering than be neglected like Maggie and Frankie's mother.

This is true. Every word u say is 100% fact. Kendall and Bianca gave Erica her comeuppance and payback. However, once Miranda and Spike came then Ian and Gabby, all their problems really evaporated and Erica became someone her babies (Miranda, Spike, Ian, Gabby) could really depend on and be there for. Erica was narcissistic and self centered but anyone would be LUCKY to have her for a mother. Just like anyone would be truly blessed and lucky to have Kendall call you a friend. Every thing about Kendall and who she was and how loyal and fierce and protective she was she inherited those traits and charms from Erica. Both girls got Erica’s kindness but Kendall inherited her temperament and protective lioness don’t take any gump attitude while Bianca inherited the gentle Mother Earth type of personality. They were the best of Erica.

Erica put up with so much crap from Bianca but had no tolerance for anything Kendall did. It took her years to accept Kendall as her daughter for a reason that was not her fault. Even then she still had little tolerance for Kendall. Her favoritism of Bianca was evident till the end of the show. And poor Kendall even after she became a good daughter. sister and amazing mother still always craved love from her mother

I think Erica did finally did love Kendall as her on daughter when she was in her comas. And when she Zack was kissing Reese she blasted both of them. Kendall for the most art acted her age but even as a small girl Bianca acted up and gave Kendall a hard time when she was just trying to get along with her sister for Mona's sake.
