Julia Barr is phenomenal. She doesn't get anywhere near enough the credit she deserves for being such a stellar actress.

Watching Brooke in this much pain, it's incredible to think that she and Adam reunited. He hurt her so badly. Oh my god, when she says she has nobody. JB best actress on soaps.

You do feel her desperation in this scene in realizing she has no place to go. Very sad.

These scenes are what soaps were once made of...Adam was a villian that you loved to hate...n DC played his role impeccebly...I felt Brooke's pain in these scenes...just such great acting...powerful...I just dont know what adjective to use that can describe how great this was...n do they even make soaps like this or have actors like this anymore?

I wish they kept Robert Gentry. Ross was such a dynamic character. Handsome too, with or without the moustache
@bull7053 жыл бұрын
They wrote Ross into a corner when he raped Natalie. As much as he was used in non romance plots the driving force of soaps is still romances. He couldn't reunite with Ellen, Natalie wasn't an option as his victim, Donna was Natalie's best friend.They seemed to tease him having feelings for Brooke but that went nowhere.

I agree with you . . . Robert Gentry was a great actor and he did a wonderful job playing Ross. I am sorry he left the show too. She was a solid benchmark character and he could have been used more in the years to come.

I agreed about Ross.

@auntiechercher4266 He and Debbi Morgan went on to the NBC soap, Generations, which was awesome, but short-lived.

What a hypocrite Dixie is. She is holding a Bible forgetting what it says about Adultery.

Also Robert Gentry apparently sexually harassed Robert Duncan (Ex Charlie Brent) from what I heard. I was blown away to discover that both he and James Mitchell (Ex Palmer Cortlandt) RIP were both Gay. What's so surreal is that both Tad & Adam were married to Brooke and Dixie and Dixie had children by both Men.

I don't care what you say, I feel that the writers were heavily influenced by Garden Of Shadows (1987) which was the prequel to Flowers In The Attic where you see what Olivia Foxworth (Nee Winfield) life was like between 1918-1957 and although you don't condone what she did, you understand why she went all cray cray.

Did Ross know that Dixie was also his Cousin? Sometimes Soap Families and their ties to each other are so confusing. In The UK it's just as strange sometimes.

Could someone please explain to me why Brooke goes back to Adam over and over, despite all of the stuff he did to her. Also Brooke should have told Adam how important it was to be careful with AIDS, anything is possible. Brooke should go to Coronation Street and hang out with Gail Platt, she`s had so many husbands, lovers and the like they are both like The Ophelia of Pine Valley and Weatherfield which is based on Manchester where the Bee Gees came from.
