Do you mean the small gray rectangle? If you mean the big heatsink, it comes with the CPU or you have to buy it yourself. It doesn't come with the mainboard.

This motherboard hasnt PCI-E Gen 4 for graphics slot and NVME, despite B550. Propably due low cost PCB design.

Hey, how did you made the bios update to the B550M-P gen 3 so it was compatible with AMD Ryzen 5 5600? I just assembled mine but when I connect it to a monitor I won't get any image, and I can't update the bios. The boot light indicator in the motherboard is always on.

Is your monitor connected to HDMI on motherboard or GPU? If you connect your monitor to motherboard it will not work because 5600 dont have iGPU
