its a good lesson but you are too fast teaching the lesson. To catch up with your speed is frustrating. However, the way your run your mouse around the design board makes it more confusing. Keep the tempo of your communication at average because people want to learn from the video.

@@dodif11 It's a mixed bag, sometimes people like that I teach too fast, while sometimes people want me to teach slow :D I try to be in the middle, but I usually am a very fast teacher.

Thanks for the video, nice to see how other people do it. The only problem I see is that this works great for one specific scenario with a set width of each row, but I'd be interested if there's a way to build a table that's flexible enough for many use cases. For example, you may want to play around with the column width (which you can't do with nested components).

Yeah got the same issue. The column width issue in table instances is frustrating. Would like to know if you've found an answer to this question.

@@JonNewby-xb2pv I haven’t, but now with the min/max width features there’s probably a way to set rows as ‘fill’ and do it that way

@AM Desing what do you think about creating column based columns. I found it much easier to change widths, or other common things like select all texts inside one column using enter>enter instead of individually selecting 10 texts from 10 rows. And I often want to select all texts for one column to use some plugin. One limitation I found however is making rows hoverable (make color change on hover) using this column based tables. For headers specificly, row based solution is obviously better because we only have some other row,I am talking about main content of table i.e. body

Both have their pros and cons. With column based layouts you can’t add multiple rows and probably have to do that at the component itself.

@@AMDesignAndDev yes, I guess it depends on use case. In my particular use case all tables are 10 rows in size because usually they have lot of data and are paginated by 10. Altought, I am not expert, I am just developer started learning figma few days ago 😃
