Great tour. The outside nature videos of the Amel boats are nice, but there is not enough inside video tours. They really help people decide what they need in a boat.

What a great tour of the boat, I have been waiting for it. Wow she really is in good condition. Excellent purchase. Wishing you fare weather sailing as you head for the UK.

Thank you so much, Paul. We really look forward to your comments. We are having second thoughts about UK. Maybe we will head to the Canaries from here. You'll want to join us when you've watched Part 2 of the boat tour... and you would be most welcome. Fancy a couple of weeks' sailing to the Canaries?

@@svdisaDear Darrol and Kathy,❤❤ I am a very old friend calling from Fish Hoek 😊. Thanks for your unique bedtime story for me this evening. Your boat is very impressive and Kathy’s conducted tour makes me very happy for the skills that you have gained. God Bless you both, love M.E.P,

@@marionpallant9701 So glad you enjoyed this, Marion! We are now in Brighton, UK. As soon as we are settled we will do a whole new series on our Atlantic circuit. We've had big adventures on the high seas, crossing from the Canaries, via Cape Verde to Grenada, sailing up through the Caribbean chain and crossing the North Atlantic via the Azores, to the UK.

Thanks Dan. We love the Cape Town flavour and the family photos, together with the sailing - we think the intro really encapsulates what our channel is all about, in 30 seconds.

Thank you for this tour. I am considering an Amel Mango along with others even as small as the Sharki. As an older sailor, I appreciate the ketch sail plan that keeps sails smaller and easier to manage. This was the most thorough tour of a Mango I have ever seen. Can you do one of a Sharki? I know, you don't own one.

We're so glad you enjoyed the boat tour. Sorry for the late reply - we've been hibernating! We just love our Amel Mango - if you're considering this model, she's very similar to the SuperMaramu.
@williamstreet43049 ай бұрын
@@svdisa Yes, the SuperMaramu is an awesome boat. But she has an Amel proprietary drive system. That's one reason I am looking at the Maramu. It doesn't have so many proprietary parts.

By far the best tour I had! Happy that you know your boat so well. Would suggest to keep the safety device for the watertight bulkhead at the saloon side rather than the room, since ot locks from that side. Enjoy your lovely boat!
@svdisa Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Great idea to move the safety lock for the watertight bulkhead - Why didn't we think of that!!
