I'm sorry. However, hearing people love Amelia all over the first video, and say "she's beautiful" and "your ducks just made my day" brings a little smile after the worst day of my life. It's only been a month and I still wanna scream sometimes. Thank you for watching my videos though!

Amelia seemed like a very sweet duck. Its tragic she had to pass away so early. I feel sorry for Dark Wing as well for losing his sister. Watching this video just reminded me of one of my high school class mates who just passed away in February of 2015 due to type 1 diabetes. She was just 22...i guess that could of been the equivalent of Amelia's age but I'm not sure. #deathtakesall #RIP

Thank you... I feel like no one understands how hard it is. DW has been very sad, but reluctantly I bought another duck to try to cheer him up. She's just a baby, so he's not that excited about her... But he has found a new love in mirrors. He spends all day trying to play with himself in the mirror. It makes him a little happier, so I but a mirror in his pen. Yes, Amelia died from being egg bound after only getting to live for a year. It was the worst night of my life. I miss her.

Thank you. DW is sad, but I'm trying to fix that as we speak. I might have possibly found him a new friend, and he seems to love playing with his "buddy" in the mirror, it's been cheering him up. I hope time heals everything. Amelia was the best duck that ever existed.

Thank you, I'm sorry for your loss too. I still cannot stop crying. She was the best. I will post another video as soon as possible, but there are a lot of complications right now. The new baby girl seems to have a penis, and boys sometimes hate each other, so I'm taking it one day a time. Thanks though for warm wishes!

Thanks, it really isn't fair. Amelia almost died once before too, from eating a penny and the vet also gave her calcium shots. It just makes me so mad. Thanks for all the love.

I don't know if this would work for ducks but I don't see why it wouldn't. I had a finch that was egg-bound for 2 days and a breeder told me to drop many drops of wheat germ oil on top of her vent until it was soaking wet (part the feathers first though) and within a half hour, the bird was able to pass the egg without a problem. I hope you read this so that you can prevent future incidences like this. Amelia was adorable, I'm so sorry she passed, may she rest in peace.

I had two ducks named Navi and Henry and they were such great pets but one sad day no one was home and Navi had drowned in a pond because she couldn't get out. Henry was depressed so we let him inside and he followed me everywhere. After the next fews days I was about to have a dance concert, however, my dad brang home a beautiful little duckling and we decided to call her Cinnamon. Now Henry and Cinnamon are the best of friends! Recently my parents went home to find my Husky biting the fur off little Cinnamon. She was in big trouble but now all the animals in the backyard are happy where they are. R.I.P Navi
