They refused to unban my acc until i sent them a video of me talking to them in 2022 and they agreed to unban my acc's. Still think they shouldve done this after he got fired

I used to play SSO a lot between 2013-2017 but I just grew out of it, maybe I just got older and do not find interest in it anymore, but also seeing it change through the years didn't help in making me come back. Whenever I go online (once a year ahah) I just find that nostalgia, I look at my friends list and remember how it was and how people we were close with suddenly stopped playing just like I did :')

@juliakarlsson6065 ironically they seem to still be overly condescending despite a massive portion of their audience being from 10 years ago. well, generally i find being condescending even to children and babying them still pretty bad but the fact that they haven’t grown out of it is crazy. it’s more polished but lacks any character, it screams “barbie” in terms of the art style. there were endless directions to improve upon old graphics and this one gives off a very plastic and calculated approach, the kind that makes me feel like i just stepped into a lifeless doll house. i just really don’t dig it.

I’ve been playing since around 2014 and maybe it’s just because I’ve grown out of it, but sso doesn’t feel as realistic to me now as it did back then. I loved the little clicking sounds that your horse used to make to indicate that they were about to slow down or when you needed to go to a stable in order to take care of them. Also when you had to be on a cold tolerance horse in order to run at full speed in valley of the hidden dinosaur. Most recently, getting rid of your horses energy (you used to have to constantly click w for your horse to keep running at full speed) so now your horse somehow has infinite energy? My horses feel like robots now. There’s so many others things I could list but yeah. I understand how these things could be seen as annoying to some people but to me they made the game more fun and feel more alive. I wish I felt connected to the sso world the way I did when I was younger.

also is anyone going to talk about the endurance skill being essentially useless? the only way your horse loses health is if you take a risky jump. why aren’t they using endurance for.. endurance?? it should be for stamina, which imo adds more life to it. it would preferably make you have to think about when to jump or full gallop in races etc before exhausting your horse and slowing down.

I quit after Christmas honestly it’s just not fun and the quests are insanely repetitive, I spent so much money on sso they really need to up their game honestly. The only reason I play is for roleplaying. I also bought life time, I know I will probably get into it again, but yeah your points are so true and I agree entirely.

I quit at level 19 by the sale with andalusians, It started to get boring and took longer to log on ( i could just took awhile. ) and the quests, i was just logging on for club practices/ events and hanging out with friends. I’m also on another server then most of my friends. ( Night Star. )

the price is for the labor of course, they put a lot of man power into horses. the only problem with this is that they just flat out refuse to work smarter instead of harder. you don’t have to make a unique texture for every single horse breed or start from scratch with animations… you can literally just model for different horse body types to avoid texture stretching (pony, warmbloof, coldblood) and use textures unique to those body types instead of unique to the horse. all you do is just resize proportions to fit the breed n you’re golden, minimal stretching in my experience. it’s so efficient, i’m doing this for my own game as well and it makes the art more consistent and quick. sso horses tend to have varying shading and some look more “blocky” than others because they’re constantly pouring resources to make each horse unique when they don’t have to.

My one biggest issue with sso are the clubs. They're extremely clique-y, and people take them way too seriously. It's not an issue with the devs, more of the players, but still an issue

And the club sets/horses I get that its supposed some sort of "uniform" but I ain't spending my star coins on a lusitano and expensive tack to get kicked out a week later because a club member was literally harassing me and manipulated the club leader (which I was good friends with) to punish ME I left the club. It's been two years and a half since I'm only going on SSO to buy the new horses (only when they're worth it, unlike the morgans which are a total failure).. Since a while, SSO only cares about money and getting new players hooked on the game so they can make profit. Us old players are completely ignored for everything... So it's totally normal that people are leaving since they don't listen to any of us..

21:30 this. I'm a brand-new player, been playing maybe a few weeks. I can't help but compare this game to other MMO's like World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy 14, what with the questing, other players, and open-world exploration. SSO, WoW, and FFXIV have all been around a really long time, but SSO is seriously lacking in quality of life features across the board, features I would have expected as a bare minimum. I already have a growing list of minor grievances and edits that would make average day-to-day play much more enjoyable and on-par with other MMO's (am I the only one who wants to be able to zoom in on the map window??). As it is right now, in my opinion, it is not worth the prices for Star Rider subscription/lifetime or the SC to buy horses (I'm on a budget bc I want a new car more than I want a new 3D horse). The only reason I'm playing at all is for the nostalgia of StarShine Legacy, and I am a sucker for story. I guarantee you, once I run out of quests to do, I won't be logging on unless things change. Even as a new player with just 1 horse I've bought, I'd rather have the SSO team work on quality of life updates to bring the game into modern times, than have them keep pumping out horses, tack, clothes, and races. I'm overwhelmed with choices already. I am very much looking forward to the updated playermodels and I HOPE they aren't gonna charge us to explore the options and make a change for the first edit. I haven't bothered to add friends/join clubs for this reason, as I know there's a big chance I won't be active in the long run. As a final note, I am an adult female human and I headcanon that my character is a male rider, because I can and I do not care if others think it's strange. It makes it more interesting for me, and I also cannot come up with feminine names I like at all anyways. It's not hurting anyone. Like I said, looking forward to the gender-neutral playermodel options in the future. Bro... what they did to scare you--that's just plain wrong. My friend was randomly charged $20 to her account for no reason. I totally agree with you, SSO is rlly unfair to other genders. Boys deserve to play too, and the ENTIRE main story plot is based on girls. SSO needs to start listening to us. But what I rlly find weird is the Chat Filter. I can't say KZbin... it's ridiculous, and as a non-star rider, you can't visit 3/4 of the world--crazy. My non-star rider friend finished all her quests in 3 days and never played again, she has nothing to do. All I do on SSO now is Film, Chat with my friends for a little, Get updated with the latest news, Leave. The Star Coins stuff is so true - I used to ask my dad every. Single. Month. For 500+500 but eventually we decided to do it once every 2 months. Then because I asked for Pay-Once Star Rider, I had to wait until X-Mas but I still asked before. At some point, I stopped playing SSO for 2+ months and realised that i don't need to ask for Star Coins, I'm not interested in the new horses, new clothing, new tack. So, I rarely buy stuff and now I have 400SC (I bought the discounted ETB recently). If I do ask for Star Coins, it'll only be 100+100 and very rarely. If this made no sense, this was written by a 10-13 y/o who likes writing but cannot make anything make sense Edit: Also, it's annoying with the prices rises. Make it CHEAPER, not more expensive! If they make it cheaper, more people will buy them, and more money. Companies really need to think about that- And, one time, my dad was getting 500+500CS for me and it didn't work so we bought it again. He had to spend double than usual and I felt so bad.

I am taking a break from SSO due to my mental health since people just were so rude and stuff and also because of money. It is an expensive game but it's also really nice but it's very different atm to be honest. SSO is slowly dying which is pretty sad but I understand why people quit and they're excused. I remember a few months ago looking at the new horses and stuff and just not being as happy and excited, I loved this game when I was a child. I haven't been on SSO for months now and to be honest I feel happiness, I'm planning into coming back soon and check out new things with some of my online friends. I started playing SSO when the cat on the saddle was the loading screen. IYKYK And a few things that have made me slowly start to stop playing is... 1. the quest are boring 2. they did not want to add the natural gate of the TW because it was "abusive" even tho its NATURAL Gait (not talking about big lick) 3. all the kids on the game make the players hump one another on global chat. and are very strange over all 4. adding all of the unrelaistic horses (sorry can't spell) 5. and only some tack can be used on certain horses and its really annoying! like I get the Arabian halters, but saddle pads!!!??? like ughhh

I'm over 50, and I play this game. I had a group of three people following me around, telling me how terrible my tack and outfit were. I told them I didn't care about their opinions. They said I should, since they were fashionistas. I am a metalhead irl, and couldn't care less what people think about me. I agree, they are miserable and looking to make everyone else miserable. Hi. Saw this video in my feed. I don't play Star Stable anymore, I am a 2016-2022 player. In fact, I only played enthusiastically between Halloween 2016 and Valentines 2017, finishing all quests that were currently in the game, in that exact timeframe. Afterwards, I had a pretty big break, several months I think. And after that break I returned, but not with much enthusiasm. I kept wanting to leave, so I did leave again, but after the second leave, I came back a second time. So, I ended up in this cycle of leaving and returning, and I returned with less and less enthusiasm and genuineness each time. The magic wore away over time. I was forcing myself. It didn't help that due to my account being a Lifetime Star Rider account, I felt the need to play, in order to "not waste the money". I feel like psychologically, the Lifetime subscription holds you hostage :( My worst phase was when my sister joined in. At the beginning I introduced SSO to her, and I genuinely wanted to play it with her. For a while, we both enjoyed it. But that was already after 02/2017, so I was already kinda worn by then. Well, we kept playing, but after a while, I forced myself into that cycle of leaving and returning yet again, this time with my sister involved. She was actually mad at me when I confessed to her that I don't want to play anymore. Like a Karen, she found that unacceptable. And when I told her that I am straight up quitting forever, she completely cut off contact with me. Insane. Can you imagine? Over a videogame? With your own biological sister?? In 2023, I haven't opened SSO even once. This is officially my first year "SSO-free". And I blame my addiction-like relationship with SSO on its payment structure. If it was a paid game from the beginning, if the payment was one-off, then I wouldn't feel so guilty for not playing it. But with a subscription it's different, because by definition a subscription is continuous, regular. That's why when something is called a subscription, you are psychologically tricked to think of it as something that you should regularly return to. Because after all, otherwise you'll waste that _one-off_ money, right? Exactly, one-off. The lifetime subscription is no different from a one-off purchase, they just named it differently to trick their customers. If people were to see through that, they'd realize that the price of Star Stable as a game is insane. It's literally twice the price of GTA V! The Sims 4 used to go for $60-$40, that's also what Star Stable is currently at. So, literally EA-tier prices. Not to mention the star coin prices are inflated too. Spending a given amount of money on microtransactions in other games gets you more rewards than spending that same amount on the ones in SSO. After following this game closely for several years, I must conclude... SSO is a scam.

I’ve been playing since 2015 and back then I use to feel happy and a little spark in my body when buying a horse now I have to many star coins and spend them on horses I don’t even like, I feel no happiness when buying them anymore all I say to myself is it’s just another horse, I’ve lost that spark now and to me there is no point in the game it’s just gone down hill for the past few years, Im sad to say that the game isn’t special to me and a lot of others anymore but at the moment to a lot of people the star stable team only cares about the money not their players, it’s sad,

I've personally played this game since 2016 (11 years old). I hated how everything had to do with money a year in, and I wasn't going anywhere because I had to unlock a region in the map to do a quest. It was a really fun game. I've recently transitioned to Roblox wild horse islands.

Tested the game in 2012; current main created in early 2013; been semi active in the game the whole 10 years and still play like once a week. I would leave a "Do not recommend" review despite my thousands of hours; they are full of regrets :´) I consider myself retired player now who just can't leave for good. I am just frustrated with this game, hoping it would someday become better. I still care about it a lot. Also my account has been put a lot effort into, which makes me passionate about it. I don't care about horses that much anymore now that I'm not a kid anymore. Only thing about SSO I like is how casual and chill it is; open world and wander around, find new stuff and do some chill tasks, but RDR2 now has taken that spot. Only reason I really play anymore is either because of habits or because I got nostalgic. All my friends have quit too. The game lost its focus on creating an adventure game, and now it feels like a horse-buying simulator. Horses feel soulless; health and stamina have been removed, and still no personality traits for them. Horses have become cosmetics. Game is also now made far too easy to even be called a "game" anymore. New quests come so rarely, that you could stay away for a year, then comeback and finish all the new quests in a few days. New quests feel so half a**ed, the technology/engine is ancient and clanky, gameplay hasn't improved since the game launched, you have so little to do once you have finished the quests. Racing is the only challenge the game provides, and once you've mastered that then what? you still get beaten by cheaters or server's poor performance. Also the game is actually worth like 20 euros at best, not 70e.....

I've been playing the game since launch on multiple accounts, and nowadays I log on once every five or six months just to peek around and buy a couple of horses with the star coins that have saved up. It says something that almost all of the festivals have been removed, and that in the last three years there's been basically nothing new to log on to see so you don't really log on again. I don't leave because it's a lovely and beautiful thing, but I definitely don't have the same feelings for it anymore.

My issue is that sso acts like they are a small indie game yet charge 70-80$ for lifetime (you could buy a WAY better quality game with a story and content to last you years and years for only 60$ without having to purchase 30 dollars per different color horse). The quality of the game doesn’t reflect the millions they are making. Sso is not a triple A game so the prices they are charging, the spam horse releases, removing any and all immersion including horse noises, horse speed, moods, ect are stupid. It’s predatory and disrespectful to the community. Theres a reason why people just stand at steves farm, literally nothing to do but stand in one spot and watch the drama in global chat.

I been playing since 2011 and I stopped playing for 2 years during the lockdown, I was playing RDR2 but came back when they increased the pay for doing championships and the times. When you have been playing as long as me daily stuff you do alone I was just over it, competing with others and friends makes it fun. And not every server has toxic players, if u find some just move servers. And this game is unrealistically expensive....in the beginning I remember then we got the first set of new horses, it was the best thing to happen, then to find out you could only have 5 horses and had the sell them when u wanted the new ones.

I joined sso about a year ago, although I’ve been following the game for _years._ I was never able to play because I’ve never had a desktop, and I couldn’t afford sr. So when I heard sso was coming to mobile.. I was so excited!! I downloaded it on my phone and I’ve been playing ever since. Its really sad to see how this game has progressed though, last years Halloween event was so.. dull. Extra grinding for old prizes, absolutely garbage. I did like the new horses though. This years winter festival was fun too! It felt a little boring though, not much going for it but small side quests and whatnot. I really wish sso cared about it’s players more.. if you want a new horse its $17 out of pocket, and even that will barely get you a new one. And only 100sc a week? For the money we pay to keep this game running?? I paid for lifetime and I’m astonished at how little I received from this game after paying over $50. I’m never spending another penny on this game and I’m just going to save up.

I don't like star stable anymore....I don't like all the updates and getting rid of horses, horses and things are too expensive, I lag everytime I play and I can't play it anymore cause I don't have room on my computer from all the updates and people talk about things I wouldn't like to say and it's getting really boring and if I go in wild mode people will make fun of me etc

I've only ever had to deal with drama on especially controversial updates where I don't shy away from arguing the good and the bad. That being said, the boring and expensive gameplay has been shooing me away for years now. I don't buy SC often (only on Double weekends and only MAYBE 2k at a time every year or so) but I have a little nest actually saved bc I just don't have any interest in the game. Reshade is literally the ONLY reason I log in now. I like to RRP (but don't post anymore bc I'm lazy) so I login in, make shaders/presets, take cute pics, logout. That's it. The game has gotten boring, and IMO kind of ugly with how plastic it looks everywhere, and EXPENSIVE so why bother that much?

It’s definitely worth playing it for once if you haven’t yet it’s for everyones own taste you may like it more than others that started disliking the game so def give it a try and see if you’ll like the game in my opinion it is worth it but some things can get really annoying for example the expensive prices for the horses & starcoins, bugs etc.. but other than that it’s actually a nice game if they didn’t change it that much & there are still people playing this game so dw! :) many people leave for a break and come back after idk how long they’ve token their break for

Im polish and while you were talking about the sc prices i was like, “theyre not that expensive ere they” and then i went to look at the usd prices and my jaw dropped, here in poland they are literally 3x cheaper, if we convert pln to usd we pay 25 bucks for the 5000 bundle, which is still alot for a horse game, but the difference is just so shocking to me?

personally why i quit sso in 2019 after playing it for 4 years was the fact that they focused on too many things at the same time and couldn't finish any of the projects, i started playing again in may of this year, and gotta say that it is still bit true, there are huge areas which they haven't updated yet, which they started to do in 2018... it's just frustraiting, i want new areas to explore so the lore could expand more as well. the thing they're great at is just promise more never coming stuff, my server is literally dead, i usually see around 10 players max when i play around the map, it also makes me sometimes wanna quit again, because there is no one playing. i wish they could do updates which everyone could enjoy more often, so the community wouldn't be so dead.

I quit SSO because the game is going in a direction i don't like, I'm not a equestrian, i love horses but i'm not into competitions and dressage, what made me love SSO back in the day was the exploring and adventure, now this game is becoming very equestrian focused, which isn't a bad thing, but it's not my thing.

when I first got this game i stayed on for hours at level like 12 do practice dressage now I hardly ever even do dressage anymore, and I get bored and mostly do wild do some filming still shots cause i have some things made like coffee mugs made from pictures from sso and coasters and some stickers and pens and notebooks with and a throw rug with pictures off sso so it has its uses but i do get bored the artwork on your page is that yours it really pretty

I played 2014-2018 and quit cause a glitch happend to my ac and the team just ignored my calls for help.. just new horses i didnt had any fun with the game anymore cause of the grapthic glitch and i was a stupid kid who always wanted expensive stuff.. i dont see a reason anymore to keep playing and spending a ton of money over the years to just get ignored when asking for help on a glitch that makes playing almost Impossible... Yes my ac is glitched with the dark graphic bug, yes i tried many pc's reinstalling, using the standard options, when playing with a diffrent ac (tried a friends) it worked normaly on my pc...

I have to agree on a lot of things. I would like see male players. Yes the game is expensive and i didnt like the fact that the makers took away the option of paying once and if you dont want to next month that thats fine. I did have a bug but it was fixed pretty quickly.

my main reasons why i rarly log into star stable now are a lot of reasons. they dont listen to us with anything really the one i remember the most are the lead ropes for the halters they even asked the community if we want lead ropes to go with the halters and i cant think of one person who said they didnt want lead ropes. the cost of star stable is to much its the reason i dont spend mony on star stable anymore the only thing you should buy from star stable is the life time star rider cause you get star rider for life and you get free starcoins every week. but the biggest reason i dont log in anymore is because of the main quest line i mean it dosent make sence anymore is used to be about 5 girls fighting aganist the meanest people saving the world and going through portals but now is just nothing i dont even know what it is anymore and we never went through the 3rd door in the tomb of adien or whatever it was it was a long time ago. and poor lisa was a rock star and now shes a country singer chick person. i know everyone has there opinions on this but this is mine so yeah that all i have to say and i hope everyone has a good night edit: i really do like the star stable movies and series though there are some really good ones out there that ive seen. my favorate one ive seen is called seven its really good you should go check it out and i really like watching stuff from haley kittenhope and bianca ponyer

I just found this channel and it feels somewhat refreshing to me to just see a sso youtuber who kinda is just casual and not somewhat more targeted for younger audiences (I'm aware that there's probably plenty of youtubers who do sso videos and aren't targeted towards younger audiences I just haven't seen many). I they made very good points and kinda just have a good perspective on everything going on with sso and community. I've been playing for around 4-5 years and the game was a big part of my childhood, me and my old best friend would play for hours running around and doing whatever just enjoying ourselves so sso holds a very special place as a part of my childhood. I feel like over the past couple years the game has had some great updates along with really boring ones, for example in my opinion all the new horses are getting a little old and not exciting. I remember that whenever I would see a sneak peak for a new horse around 3 years ago I would get super excited and text my old friend about it but now it's become a normal thing that isn't as exciting anymore. I understand why sso is currently more targeted towards girls and my guess is that it's because the game was originally made 10 years ago and I don't really know but there might not have been a lot of good games for girls to be the main character/hero or whatever you wanna call it. I think adding male avatars might not be a great idea cause it would likely cause a lot of the older players to be mad or just flat out leave plus I think they'd have to change words in the quests which wouldn't be terrible just extra work. I think a good idea would be to add more masculine clothes and hairstyles for guys that might play or even girls who prefer that style (me being one of them). I don't mean to sound rude but I believe star stable is good as a game with a female lead considering it was made so long ago. I don't wanna ramble on anymore so I'll stop there and I don't mean to sound offensive in anyway I just wanted to state my opinions on some things that people might have been mad about or something like that.

I wouldn't say I've quit but I would say I log in maybe once every other week for less than 5 minutes. It could be due to the fact there's an update which looks slightly interesting then I realise it's boring. But the main reasons why I barely play anymore is because SSO has changed. I understand that in the past 3-4 years they have grown, mainly because of lockdown so their investors have increased and they are earning more money. They used to put players first and would listen to their advice but now it's investors, they release way too many horses so they can persuade people to buy more star coins so they can get more money. Then they use 'cost of living crisis' as an excuse to raise the price of star coins when they are a stable enough company, they have millions of subs already and they're "struggling" it's just greedy. Another reason as to why I barely ever play anymore is because it's boring, I really miss the quests like saving Anne because they were actually interesting. Drama is another reason why I hate playing, the amount of people who are homophobic and racist is disgusting and it's mainly children. I had another account that got permanently suspended for no reason and I questioned sso and they said chat ban, I only had 1 chat ban warning in the past and it was about 2 years prior but there are children using slurs and they don't get banned it's utterly ridiculous. I tried MULTIPLE times telling them to investigate because 'chat ban' isn't enough to permanently suspend me but all I got was 'once the system has permanently suspended your account we cannot get it back' I had spent over $600 on that account. The whole game is boring, expensive and a waste of money. At this moment in time can I see other horse games overtaking sso? Not at the moment but if they listen to players and make the game for players not for money, I can see it happen.

Personally I quit playing actively sso someday in 2018 I think and since then I log in the game like once for few minutes after several months. The game has zero endgame content where you can't do anything else then train or buy a new horse to train again, play rps or join clubs. But what else is there? Waiting simulator for new quests which comes like 1 times per year? How funny. Is it worth the time? Definitely not. Was the game worth the money? HECK NO, it was the biggest mistake of my life. Just a trash to be said in the end, that's all that game is.. and I didn't even start with how they weren't able to finish their game (story) after more then a 10 years. Quite sad.

I honestly wish rhe game was free to play beyond level 5, because not everyone can afford membership just to play.. like there can be other ways fir starstable to make money on special horses ect like the magical horses can cost actaual money and we can buy every other breed with regular tokens, i feel like starstable can do better with the game money wise, why should new players need to be forced to buy their membership in order to continue to play the game? Anygame should be free to play when it comes to level up they can make money other ways for ex the magical horses, and magical companions they arent really new player friendly when it comes to that

You opened it up by putting up "The reasons people quit SSO" , so we are telling why we quit. As for me it is because they have change the game so much that I am not sure why I am playing it anymore. As I have said before, I had to go on disability & leave my job. I got internet & my own computer at home. I found this game on the internet & I liked that the horses moved like real horses & it was like like riding in a realistic place. It reminded me of when I use to trail ride my own horse. The quest thing was fun too. BUT Star stable & SSO have become nothing but a GREEDY company who only cares about making money without a care about the product they are trying to sell. Unfortunately this is happening all over the country. I was born in 1963, so I have seen a lot of things & I don't like what I am seeing. This is my personal opinion & unless our country has turned into a Communist country I am allowed to express my thoughts. I am now done with SSO & looking for another horse game to play. One more to my liking. I will also be deleting my account. I really think that Star stable is dying but only time will tell.

i quit sso in late 2019 just bc it stopped working for me, it put a virus (or so im convinced it did) into my computer.. and so it stopped letting me log in, it said there was an error and everything was wrong so i couldnt play. the urge to download it again is SO big rn.. but at the same time its the fear of the virus and the amount of money that goes into it.
