I did the jar thing last year, but I kept it in a macaroon box. If I had a happy day, if something good happened or if someone said something nice to me... I'd go home and write it down (with the date) and put it into the box. I opened it on New Year's Day and it was just lovely to go back through beautiful, happy moments. And it was a really helpful exercise to show what things made me happy so I can know what changes to make for a better year in 2016. Have fun with yours Amelia!

hey, Amelia! I'd recommend the Max Factor CC colour corectors as an affordable corrector option. I don;t know if they have orange ones, but I use a yellow one for my under eye circles and for dark spots. I'm pale and they're more purple-toned, so the yellow neutralizes them well. There's also a green one which is useful for neutralizing redness. The coverage is quite high, too.

I keep an alternate to the "jar of happiness" instead, I record good thoughts into a journal with the date. It makes it really easy to keep and look back on. It's sort of like your beloved 5 year journals but just full of positivity and good vibes. :)
