This is fab. It's really useful seeing you teaching it to regular people on regular horses! 😊

This is a brilliant exercise. I had to jump off my hot horse on Wednesday because the saddle slipped as we were going into canter on the left rein, and she started bucking and rearing. I was pretty nervous going into the left canter anyway as she gets very tense. I did this exercise at the trot until she was very calm then introduced the canter - she relaxed after a few repetitions. Thanks so much for sharing this!

Amelia, you're the best rider I saw in im whole life, your techniques are awesome ^^ You've helped me a lot to understand more about horse's training and tack, even though I can't have horses nor ride in an equitation school (because of Argentina's economic situation 🙃) I dream about being as good and understanding as you are!

Thanks Amelia. This is an especially good remake of an exercise you taught us years ago. Time to put it back in my plan!
