I too, like Lokelani, used to place my Hope in relationships. I used to think that having a boyfriend (who was genuine) would bring me happiness, comfort, elevation. It’s funny because I desperately desperately wanted to submit my ALL into something I loved, and I realise now I can do that, I can submit my ALL to God. My happiness and comfort comes from Christ Jesus. Thank you.

When we hope we are looking for something. But forgiveness is already given on the cross. Jesus said, It is finished. Done. We are Eternal beings having natural and spiritual experiences. When we leave here we will be learning something else as learning is a on going process, continuously. Here also we are learning from a child till we leave this planet. All we need to do is act on the forgiveness, act on being justified, sanctified, glorified, as it is already given to us only we have to recognise it as ours. Receive all these things.

Love your podcasts, been listening for so long now. One thing I would like is if you used specific examples of real life more. You did it some in this episode and I loved it. Bad things I put my hope in are mostly people in that they trust me. But over time I´ve realized that wether people believe me or not God is my witness and I´m not here to please men but God. Galations 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
