I'm gonna be salty by not being afraid to be salty. A lot of times I don't talk about Christ because I don't "feel the need to" or there isn't any reason at that time, but I realise now that it's all rooted in fear. I'm afraid of being looked at or thought about as weird so I restrain myself. but Christ is telling me to boldly proclaim the gospel of truth, because in the end that's more important than fear

I do too, it’s a lot like catching fish… you need to see when (discernment) the person is willing to take the bait (able to accept the Word). Your actions with a little bit of bait on the end (Christ) will do wonders, it’s like a spiritual science

“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather, join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.” ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬ You are not alone in this. Be spirit led and bold in your faith. We fear & revere God, not man. ““Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them. Today I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and a bronze wall to stand against the whole land-against the kings of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land.” ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬-‭18‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank y’all for share God word. I love that God is working though y’all to help us understand what His word truly means. For the longest hearing that verse about being sait to the earth didn’t like it, because I didn’t like the idea of being step on (still don’t lol), but lately God has been showing me that being step on or having your buttons push is the proof that His will is being done. But ones again thank y’all and keep up the good work.

Someone told me that being the salt is like or compared to a washing machine. Inside the washing machine during the wash the center piece "the agitator, spins all kinds of different "salty" It's not there to destroy it's there to break off the unneeded things in your life to clean you off. It may not feel comfortable but it breaks off the dirt

Thank you for making this video!!! How am i going to be salty?? I have been thinking about it... do you know how much i dislike confrontation?? it makes me very anxious and stressed everytime i am faced with situations wherein there is a confrontation, I have to stand up for myself or sometimes, it feels and seems as if i even have to defend myself!! I pray God gives me grace, courage and peace to face confrontation standing up for the truth, for who i am in God's eyes even if that means i get kicked by people i love.... it is odd, because, I don't understand why i find it so hard to confront those i love when they are being "nutty"... you get what i mean? Deep inside, i know what is right and wrong in God's eyes, and i don't care what anybody thinks or says about me if it is not true.... so confronting those you love in such cases... i think i need a supernatural dose of courage?? I will start with small things and progress .... pray for me! Lots of love to you and your children, God bless you!

Thank You Guys So Much For This Message ❤️. I’m a Priest from the church of Latter Day Saints and I love your message about salt. I study the Bible on my own and I love that you said your wife saved you from sin growing in your heart with falling in love with the greed of church members coming into the church you used to work in. I used to make music and I said I wanted fame cause fake love is lame, but I don’t want fake love nor fame. I just want to live and walk through Jesus Christ who strengthens me. Everyone I meet call me weird and look at me different for some reason, but I understand why I’m treated the way I’m treated. I’m a clear sign to people trying to be sneaky. Like my so called friends in high school called me names, joked me almost everyday and the girls used to argue with me because I wouldn’t let them do what they want to me. I still deal with this today with certain I meet. I fully understand now that I live a life that God, Jesus Christ Approves. Also every time I walk in a classroom in the public school I was enrolled at, my energy shifted because I just knew no one in U.S Government or Economics liked me other than the teacher. My Teachers, My Mom, Jesus Christ & God were the only support I had through high school and the children used to all call me weird all the time because I used to say answers and ask about the things I needed to know to make the classroom better. One student called me a teachers pet because I used to help my teacher out and I already knew I was living a life God approved of. God loves us all and I love standing up for what I believe, even when people try to argue with me.

Great breakdown of this verse. We’ve always looked at it as a warning against being thrown out like unsavory salt. But you’ve presented it in a way where we should desire and expect to be thrown out like Jesus and much of the persecuted church. That’s definitely a perspective shift. Also some great examples of people around us salting our lives for our own good. So much more I could list from this episode. I’ll be coming back to this one often

Love you two/your family. I do understand curating salty-ness raising a family. My husband and I have chosen to put our investment there and you’re spot on, it’s provocative against the stuff of our hearts and minds that needs to die. I do want to say, having been to your island a few times and as most recently March ‘22, that I LOVE when you record out in nature at the beach, on the mountains, near the rivers of Kaua’i. I love hearing the wild tropical birds, hearing the waves, in one episode I saw a person kayak by in the background, it brings a certain serenity to my soul and fond memories; please think about recording every once in awhile from outdoors. ❤🔥🙏

Taking the either or, stance with long awkward pauses is not preaching strong its emotionalism. Imo. A teacher explains well, in balance and the fruit is joy not sadness. Idolatry is often ignored for other stuff that statistics point to is not that big of a issue. Testosterone is generally down and 63% of males dont even have a girlfriend and 1 /3 is a virgin not by choice and population size Is goong down in some areas. Thats why the redpill and no pmo movement became so big. It seem self gratifying and out of touch.
