@AmenClinic and @TanaAmen_BSN_RN would you be open to doing a scan of a teenage girl who has continued to struggle from trauma & some unresolved diagnoses? While she's not famous, perhaps she represents others who get missed in the systems and you helping her and her family would model to many the much needed new direction of hope and healing. Thank you for your reply. We find there are more services for boys, young men, those with chemical addictions, etc but not for developing teenage girls. Perhaps you can bring about the much needed change that treatment centers have missed. 🙏🏼

Tana I have a question: I was in a fatal car accident at age 3 in 1969 and sustained a fractured skull (unconscious for a few days) along with other injuries. An obvious brain injury. I’ve never lived up to my potential but still desire to. Was hit by another car in May this year and sustained another brain injury (concussion). Is it possible to heal from the brain injury from 1969, and this recent one?It seems as though my brain has been maturing and healing very slowly over the years, but not fully. And, this recent concussion has really set me back. Adding insult to injury, had a traumatic childhood :( . I really want to heal and achieve some life goals 🥰

I have to say, especially for one who has adhd and possibly audh as well, that this was SO relaxing to listen to. Not stressed, not in a hurry or too fast. Very relaxing. This way I dont get over stimulated and have to stop watching/listening very early even though I dont want that. So thank you🙏🥹🥹🤩😍

Love hearing your nieces are thriving as well and so many more great things happening! I just finished Day 4 of new 30 Day challenge. I signed up for it, although i thankfully dont live eith daily pain, but lo and behold, the very first day on doom loop hit me like ton bricks! Thank you both for all your help!

I find it interesting how much you both speak the word 'war'??? I feel I am a brain health crusader much more than a 'warrior'. Gentleness in learning how your career is more about teaching ways of healing the brain is helpful as I share your work with others. It is to give hope to an individual and 'empowerment' into their own journey in Self Healing Care. TY for your work.

Hi Dr Amen and Tana, my name is Lauren, I’m 23 years old. Over the last 5-6 years I’ve noticed a significant change in thinking ability and memory. It’s like my brain isn’t holding on tot memories anymore. Often I can’t quote what someone said a few minutes ago. I was diagnosed with ADHD two years ago, medication helps but not enough. I feel like I have the potential to be much smarter. I feel so defeated when I can’t process and communicate my own thoughts. What can I do to improve memory and critical thinking? ❤ thank you

My PA won’t prescribe Trazodone for me for sleep. I have schizophrenia and am taking 700mg of quetiapine at night along with 10mg of prolixin. I tried trazodone once and really liked it. I have taking the other for seventeen years. What do I do? I am a high functioning person with schizophrenia. It is so true about the connection between grief and physical pain. Intuitively I understand it. I hurt my ribs in a fall and am getting lots of sleep. I am also getting over a fractured relationship. I do feel better.
