I couldn't praise this episode enough, this episode demonstrated what the show is all about, this my 2nd favourite episode of the entire series, my favourite episode by MA Larson and my 2nd favourite episode of season 5. If Slice Of Life was a tribute to the fans, this episode was a tribute to the Lauren Faust and the entire staff and cast of MLP ^^ Great review Golden and Doodle ^^

It's kind of sad life got in the way and she had to retire her channel, I think she had great potential off of her unique OC alone. But life happens and what she did leave us was still a good run so while it's sad, life goes on and I hope hers goes great. on a less sad note (or possibly more) that ending tough... I await with open eyes and ears for the continuation. Doubly so considering the episode in question.

Heard about what happened to Doodle Dabble, sorry to hear that. Hope she's doing well in her real life. And boy am i so glad this episode exists. It made the series go full circle, it added Moondancer to the ''ponies i wish i could hug'' list ,and it gives a lot to think about regarding friendships of the past and how we might hurt them without even knowing. Heck, i myself had this good friend from Middle School, but ever since he's moved to another town, and although we were in good terms last time we talked, we're so out of touch now that it's ridiculous. That teaser at the end.....i have seen the review that comes after it and.....wow is it intense.

Thanks for your concern! I kind of did get sick.... got tendonitis in both hands (which, as you can imagine, makes it a little difficult to draw XD they're all better now) and I graduated college this winter. I've been doing a lot of training for future jobs, trying out different possible careers, and working on my music. I should have made a video update or something. I'm sorry for suddenly vanishing!

Watched this one again recently and my level of praise for it has gone down considerably. When people say they "relate" to Moondancer, it reminds me of how "relatable" Fluttershy was in the earlier seasons, in that the reality is she has crippling mental problems. Her reaction to Twilight missing her party is hugely out of proportion and yet the episode treats it like it is somehow all Twilight's fault.

Twilight did say goodbye, It's shown in A Canterlot Wedding that Shining Armor was there when twilight left. Also unless you had that experience you cant say what you would do due to hormones affecting the brain causes different reactions from people. Moon Dancer was probably really emotionally affected by the experience, like Golden Fox shows he was by his run in with Cartoonz. While yes it is wrong that Twilight didn't say goodbye, and yes Moon Dancer did act very harshly about Twilight missing the party, It was Moon Dancers first time trying to reach out of her comfort zone. You can assume that Moon Dancer holds Twilight up on a pedestal by the was she made herself out to be a mirror of Twilight in the flashback, but then changes to her own hair style in the present. So if you were a reclusive person, and you idolized your best friend, if they didn't show up to your first attempt to exit your comfort zone you would be upset. If you made it through all that good job a know I'm just trying to be helpful, and next time try to keep anger out of you criticism. I know Golden Fox is working on it but how can we help give him hope if we fall into the same trap. I don't mean to be rude but next time try to think properly before criticizing even if you have to walk away for a little while.Hope I helped and have a nice day! :)
