Released on our label The Amen Collective, this song was written to celebrate the birth of my son Jesse, born last month on March 10th. During the pregnancy, my wife spent a couple of weeks in hospital due to complications and concerns for his health and during that time in all the anxiety and worry about everything and not knowing why these things were happening, God's response to me remained the same throughout 'I'm right here with you'. This song is then more than just me singing to Jesse, but God singing directly to any of his children "I'm right here with you". Thankfully, Jesse was born healthy and happy, and this song is more than just a gift to him but a song for anyone who needs to hear God singing those words to them in any circumstance you may be going through. The sample that runs throughout the song is also a recording I took of his heartbeat at 6 months into pregnancy, serving as a reminder of how God personally creates us all, and intimately knows us long before we are born into this crazy world!
