If America is a Christian Nation, then let me ask a few questions 1) How many times is the word God written in the US Constitution? 2) How many times is the word Bible written in the Constitution? 3) How many times is the word Jesus written in the Constitution? 4) How many times is the word Christ written in the Constitution? 5) How many times is the word Christianity written in the Constitution? Because I know the answer is the same for all of those questions, and that is ZERO! In fact, the only thing the Constitution says about religion at all is that government is banned from endorsing one religion over another, and that all Americans are free to practice ANY religion they want (even if it's none at all); the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment applies the First Amendment to ALL religions. Furthermore, the Constitution also forbids religious prerequisites for holding public office. If this WERE a Christian Nation, then the First and Fourteenth Amendmets would not exist, and there most certainly WOULD be references to God, Jesus, the Bible, and Christianity in our Constitution. And one last thing; do you all happen to have a specific copy of the Constitution that not even Congress has access to that supports your Theocratic view? Because I'd LOVE to read it cover to cover, just so I can see all the bullshit you're peddling.
