Whole AI depends on Nvidia, as things stand.... and down the line Quantum computer. Nvidia is a us based company and Quantum computer is developed by US companies. Do not compare AI with any of the technologies we have seen before... when car arrived, we needed driver, when computer arrived we needed people to use and take advantage of it. The number of people required to develop the car or the computer is very less compared to the number of people needed to operate those. For AI, you need developers mostly, no need of operators. If you are thinking India with large educated labours will make India number one in AI, then maybe we should rethink. The hardwares required for AI is under US control. Whatever AI we have seen so far is just the beginning, let IBM make more powerful Qbit chips, let Nvidia develop better AI processors... US won't depend on Skilled and Educated labours anymore. India must reevaluate the whole education system, which focuses very little on innovation and new thinking, focuses more to producing skilled labours. With this current situation, all we can do is pray... so that "God" stops AI development.

Ill say this again. Right now AI is a thing because there is computational power to support that kind of machine learning. Nvidia and Intel have designed the chips, TSMC in Taiwan and Chinese chip makers hold the monopoly in the manufacturing of those chips. India neither has its own chip deaign, nor capabilities to manufacturer the 4-5nm chips required for advanced AI. First india needs to take education seriously, not education for foreign companies, but for the benefit and enrichment of India. Science and research doesn't get the respect it deserves in India. Then we need a fair wage policy, empowered workers make the best products. Govt needs to take into account bothe the working class and capital provoding class, not just catering to capitalkhor without worker protection provisions. Then indian needs a pipeline of semiconductor manufacturing, all components needed for chip manufacturing, incetivize companies to come up with their own chip designs to compete with the world. Right now India is stuck being service provider, software builder, and support.. like same timeline China took us over in 10 years and we just gawked. Yes we have other issues to tackle, and we have the capability to walk and chew bubblegum at the same time.. (provide jobs, maintain welfare structures, and promote businesses towards manufacturing all together) but nah.. India's priorities are somewhere else rn.

@@bhupenderrawat5922 Israeli and Indian govts are clearly in contact and have been doing very similar things and have been working together militarily and economically. But we are not traditional allies. Israel has a more advanced weaponry, research and development, they are funded by USA and UK. India for the most part has very little manufacturing capabilities when it comes to defense, that is why we have relied on Russia, France in the past and more recently the USA and Israel for buying crafts, tech and intelligence. Do you see a problem? China has become independent in both design and manufacturing. India still relies on other countries, yes we have prototypes, but we (for very obvious reasons) can't seem to mobilize our manufacturing sector, thus can't mass produce high-end defense systems, tech etc. I wish we we were self reliant, but until "unskilled labor" gets the rebranded to "essential backbone services" with respect, safety nets, social security and good salary, India cannot and will not prosper. Even in an ultra capitalist country like the USA there are more labor protections than many so-called socialist countries. Plumbers and electricians make enough money to buy their own house and raise a family on one salary in the US, and you won't notice "only certain surnames do certain jobs" kind of mentality, everyone works all kinds of jobs. Indians have to get their hands dirty if they want India to prosper in an overall fashion. I.e. taking care of the citizens and having global impact at the same time.

The reality: India's IT field progressed mainly because the world needed smart peoples who can work in IT but at lower cost to companies. Now it seemed AI will perform the IT works without human assistance ( may be very less) and at negligible cost to companies. 😢😢. For e.g. Typewriter Typist job became extinct when computer was introduced. This time people are fighting with AI. Few will make millions and billions but most will be doomed. We need to improve our education standards to make India an innovative nation (with major focus on R & D and new invention). Sometimes, demographic dividend works in opposite direction to advanced technology with both fighting for jobs and only the smarter / cheaper option will win the survival race. US has a population almost quarter the size of India and we know who is the real superpower here. @@sourabhbramhapure6317 you need to make mathematical models based on correlation and regression and you need to feed it data ...for let's say 100k data sets based on that it will generalised an equation...and will predict the value of unknown entity that wasnt in the data set

I don't agree that India has talent pool. Its one thing to solve mathematical equations for someone else. But to become that someone else who know how to complete the puzzle is a whole different story. Even after many decades of being a big software exporter, we are still doing only labour work.
