Be patient, save your money, don’t gamble it. And wait for a moment to buy, when is that I don’t know, but right now it is the worst time to buy. You don’t buy when interest is high and price is high. So true. It all depends on how you look at it. Having a career outside the home especially if it is one you enjoy and spending 70% of your focus on that could be considered as “selfish” vs a stay at home parent who would be the opposite having sacrificed a personal career for family. That said we could very easily argue it the other way around in the exact same circumstances. The career oriented person misses out on much that goes on at home sacrificing most of their time to provide for their family while the stay at home person in this scenario could be considered 70% selfish for not providing and not wanting to miss out on that family time. It’s all how you want to see it.

@@katinthecorner it’s not oversimplified. The goal is attack the root cause of the inflation not put bandaids on the details. The dealer tax is close to 40%, who would want to build with the intention of selling quickly only to find out that their profits will taken. As someone who is beginning to invest into real estate, its starts to make you think of other areas to invest. I’m sure I am not the only one feeling this way.

This was a very enjoyable podcast! The 3 hrs went by quickly! There are no doubts or reservations that Tom and Patrick are two brilliant individuals doing what they can, from where they are, to make a better world. That noted, I want to mention a condition that I observed in each of them. A condition that most will judge to be preposterous indeed. Even so, I'm going to share what I observed with you. Neither Tom or Patrick knows what they are or who they really are. They don't know where they are or what they're doing. Nor do they know why they are. They are both asleep dreaming a world but neither is aware that he is asleep and dreaming (they went to sleep long, long ago before the beginning of time). They believe the dream they're having is real. And it is through their being, doing and having in the dream that is validating the dream as being an actual reality as well as ensuring they continue to sleep and not awaken. I would encourage both Tom and Patrick to explore the works of the late Dr. David Hawkins. What Dr. Hawkins has to say has a way of prompting one to begin questioning the guardians of sleep, which the guardians abhor.
