It was in central Mexico where the saddle head ( horn) was invented and not in Spain. The new re designed saddle is what gave birth to the mexican vaquero. The lazo techniques were born in central Mexico and these techniques have spread to many places of the world. Spaniards and Mexicans are brothers by blood, language and religion forever

Not really. I certainly do because my dad is Puerto Rican (from what I can garner, more than likely an unbroken patrilineal line leading back to the founding of the island), however my mom is a full blooded European-American, is 100% insular Celtic(British & Irish) as well as Danish. So I'm personally a minority among my fellow European-Americans has far as having Spanish admixture. Pretty much all of them are of a mixed insular Celtic and Germanic stock.

This is very inaccurate they were NOT spanish they were Mexican. The spanish horseman that arrived were NOT Vaqueros . Mexicans taught Americans how to use vaquero gear etc.. The chaps, lasso, Mexican sombrero, boots and rodeo like bull riding is Mexican culture. The spanish only brought their cattle ranching skills and horsemanship but the Vaquero/Cowboy today is purely of Mexican origin. Mexican are NOT spanish. Yes just like Americans have english ancestry we Mexicans have Spanish ancestry however vaqueros are not from Spain and the term vaquero is a Mexican word. Horseman are different than vaqueros/cowboys. All of europe had horseman. By the time Americans were moving to Texas they met Mexicans NOT spaniards. This is a white washing of history(RACIST IMO) so that Americans dont have to admt that they just copied Mexicans and stole the land of the Original cowboys. Absolutely appalling. And for the record there were no spanish after 300 years they were Mexican born. LORD HAVE MERCY!!!

Yes there was a batle with the spaniard and new spain citizens and some american wanting to colonize Texas with Americans. New spain citizens were second class citizens and didnt consider themselves to be "Spanish" anymore the spaniard in new spain were peninsular spaniards and they were not born in new spain. Criolls,Mestizo, Native and some black slaves kicked the peninsula spaniards out of New Spain and formed Mexico. And if you didnt know spaniards werent vaqueros that was a poor mestizo mans job it was work beneath a spaniard. New spain had caste system and slavery which is why Mexican culture is very different to Spanish and why the Vaquero is from Mexico and not Spain. Its called Mexican identity. Just like the American Isdentity that rejected the english due to their abuses.American acomplishments and innovation cant be called English as they were not english anymore they were American.

@@TheMariepi3 Yes I agree. The vaquero is a specific type of Mexican horseman that evolved from Spanish and Native American influence over hundreds of years in what is now today Mexico. The spanish horseman were also called "Jinete" and "caballeros". For example the lasso was something invented by Indigenous people in Mexico and the rodeo as well performed by the "charro" where the Vaquero/cowboy evolved from. The reason you see a lot of lasso throughout the world is becasue the vaquero has had worldwide influence the lasso isn't originally from Cuba or Chile they just adopted it that's why so many now look like the vaquero/cowboy today. Look at Australia they have adopted the exact cowboy/vaquero gear Just like America has. Ecuador now has a their own rodeo however that's not originally from their culture becasue the rodeo is from Mexican origin/tradition.

Guess again, the art of cattle ranching came to the Iberian peninsula from Minoan Greece in the Bronze age. The Minoans invented bullfighting or in their case leaping, and must have brought the art directly or from other Greek colonists or traders to Spain. Look at the Ancient Palaces at Knossos, youll find some very familiar scenes of bulls and men. Thats where we get the tale of the Minotaur.

There is some confusion here and im not surprised since America has always had this racial undertone when referencing the origins of anything. First of all what are Mexicans chopped liver??? Vaqueros are Mexican NOT spanish. They were called spanish horseman which is hardly unique to Spain, horseman are found almost in every country in europe actually any place that had horses had horseman NOT Vaqueros. The vaquero took 200-300 years to form in Mexico through innovation by that time They were Mexican NOT spanish anymore. Mexicans taught Americans the Vaquero ways NOT spanish. The white washing or european washing of Mexican tradition/culture is egregious. This false narrative of history is ridiculous and kind of racist. Mexicans invented the lasso, chaps, rodeo etc and it is a primal part of our identity through music and movies. Americans and other worldwide adopted the cowboy fashion/techniques. The Vaquero was influenced by the spanish horseman due to the european equestrianism but it is not from Spain its origin is from Mexico.

Daniel 2.44“In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. 45This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces,The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future. The dream is true and its interpretation is trustworthy.” Going soon won’t be long now.

Not at all, the Mexican vaquero culture was created in Mexico partially thanks to Spain when they conquered and brought many things of what makes a vaquero ( that they didn’t invent besides the boots ) not just because you ride a horse and have a hat you automatically become a vaquero 🤠 in that case maybe the Chinese were the first vaqueros by that logic
