He's go some pretty fine, obedient dogs here, I'll tell you what. However, I reckon some of them are not full-blooded pit bulldogs or bulldogs for short. The brown one seems to be full-blooded, which is why she is a super star. As for the others, I cannot say for absolute certain. Some things I noticed that were signs that not all of them were full-blooded pit bulldogs is that some would or be expected to bay. Baying is not typical behavior of a true bulldog. Bulldogs are gripping dogs that go straight in and subdue the hog. They don't need to be told to nor do they usually wait for an order to go in. If they see a hog, they are going in to do what they were designed to do. Also, true bulldogs perform the same way with or without a vest. Bulldogs are designed to take a trashing and keep on ticking and not stopping until the job is done. Most hunters and masters have to get their bulldogs off of a hog even after they have stuck and killed the hog. Maybe the ones I question whether or not they are full blooded have some pit bulldog blood in them. But it looks like some could be mixed blood. This is no disrespect to the dogs. As long as the dogs can do their job and serve their function handling large and dangerous beasts on the farm or on the hunt, which it appears they can do, they are keepers. If the master is happy with the abilities of his dogs, that is all that matters. I hope they keep up the good work.

yeah I am not going to judge majorly because those dogs probably have more fun hunting once than a normal dog does in it's whole life. Plus LOTS of hunters are that way with their dogs especially ones that provide food and sometimes money such as hog hunting or coon hunting usually a dog get smacked with a leash for fighting or running off.

William Love , I have acur, thiught these might have some cur blood. She has the best nose, too bad I donr hint, tho I take her to the woods for an hour or 2 daily, and let her get what she can, rabbits, squirrels, groundhogs etc. She trees possums and its the only time she bays, not for anything else. she even tries to climb the trees.

+El Nino Damanik Well, they could be considered bulldogs or bulldog type dogs. But I don't reckon any of them are full-blooded working bulldogs (American pit bulldogs). They seem to be heinz hounds (mixed dogs). One thing I noticed that were signs that these dogs are not full-blooded APBs is that these dogs would bay. Swell Character dont they have dome cur breed in them? I have a mountain cur mix, she lives to hunt, taught herself; I am not a hunter, got her at 1year & took her in the woods daily. She's caught a number of rabbits, some squirrels, gtoundhogs, possums, etc.but has gone after a big cat...mountain lion ? in NC, went after a huge buck but I called her off. Feel bad for her cause I dont hunt, but she seems to just like the chase, and cornering critters, even tho I dont shoot them.

+Jeanie White Do you mean the dogs in this video? That is a good possibility. Yes, cur dogs are some fine hunting dogs. I would not be surprised if they have cur in them. Some curs, such as the Black-mouth cur and the Catahoula cur, can even make for catch dogs on occasions. I've seen some in action as catch dogs.

So as such there is a lot of variation when it comes to the term pitbull. Edit: just so you know I agree that the only real pitbull is the American pitbull terrier and its my favorite breed but when people refer to pits then they can mean all of them. So that's the point I'm trying to make here.
