You are the only US American that has spoken about this, Wars for America is gonna cost them more and just imagine the debt that US Govt. has to deal with and countries trying to ditch the dollar as the reserve currency. There's probably more issues globally but too lazy to type it. Thank you for the video.

Thank you! I think most nations will still stick with the US Dollar as there are no real competitors to it currently save maybe the petrodollar due to a couple of reasons but I fully agree that America does not want/need any more wars right now. However, sadly I think we are entering a conflict period based on how things are going. Hope I am wrong.

I am not super familiar with the SANDF, but I can look into it! EDIT: Holy cow the SANDF is a mess. That would be an interesting video for sure.

Fact check. America hasn't caught up with its rivals in hypersonic missile technology; there is no operationally deployed hypersonic cruise missile being used by US forces. Though the US has greatly increased its artillery production, it will take literally years to get to the production level that Russia alone has today. Then, how do you know the US stealth fighters are "a hundred times stealthier than the Russian and Chinese counterparts"? Because Lockheed Martin told you so?
@wms-h2v8 күн бұрын
While you are correct that we have not deployed the weapon system itself, the Mako missile system from Lockheed Martin has preformed well in tests and displayed abilities equal to that of its Chinese and Russian counterparts. I never stated the technology was active, just that we have caught up after being behind in the technology level. I never said that we were equal to Russia in production, we are not in war and as such it would not make sense that our production would rival Russia. We have data of the aircraft from radar systems on bases and around the world as China and Russia gather the same data we have. Yes Lockheed says this, however, in this case we have substantial evidence to back this up both from the designs of the aircraft in question and their performance in the field.

Contracting officers are allowed to request official and unofficial cost and price data from the seller on large DOD contracts, as outlined in Section 15 of the FAR. While sellers can technically price gouge if the sellers price is considered too high the buyer has the right to cancel payments and even entire contracts while still holding onto the product. Make no mistake, the DOD will always get what it wants at a price it is atleast semi-comfortable with.
@wms-h2v8 күн бұрын
While I agree with what you say, the issue is the fact that the DOD is in a tight spot when it comes to equipment right now, especially with the Ukraine War and the current state of the US Military which seems to be on the backfoot in terms of munitions based on data coming out of Yemen. Additionally, the military and the government both have issues overspending currently which makes the situation worse. The price they may be comfortable with is not necessarily the price that is fair based on the circumstances of our political and conflict climate.
