Is this a muslim women's club ? Because a mosque cant prevent men or women from entering- they r both allowed to enter to pray- If it's a women's club then yes it's ok to have women only

Will this be recognized anywhere but in America is the question. Religions always have break away branches when a small sect doesn't like a particular ritual or interpretation. What we are seeing here is a perfect example of this. They'll only be taken seriously in liberal first world countries where Islam is not mainstream, otherwise this would never fly. Impossible.

wonderful, but Prophet times women and men used to pray side by side in the same hall, the concept of praying separate changed about 800 years ago and I think to show equality in Islam for all genders should be brought back in the Mosques as well !

Salam alaykum sisters, please study your religion. It is great to encourage the sisters to meet and learn together but this way is INCORRECT. This is not from the sunnah of our Prophet.(pbuh.) This is not what his wives(ra) did. This is clearly an innovation and should NOT be supported. Do you know the rewards of praying at home as opposed to the mosque? Please take the time to study these matters. The way the prophet worshiped was PERFECT. Aisha(ra) was one of the best scholars and teachers of Islam, one of the best women who ever lived. There is no need to change the way they practiced Islam or you could be starting your own religion, and that is very dangerous. May Allah guide us all.

Well mosques are good..in prophets era there were no gender classifications for mosque. Well in some scenario like inside a women's only campus can be acceptable. Women can be a imam for group women's and young kids. Not sure about women conducting a 'kuthuba' ( Friday prayer). Women can give speech to man also,am sure about that but not a kuthuba. (Haven't practiced by Prophet Mohammed PUBH). Please study and find the riteious path. Don't make confusion in Islam.
