Except when interviews like this don´t get the views. Show me the Fox viewer ("mainstream media lies!") who follows with interest a one hour discussion. It´s up to us consumers. Since we don´t read newspapers anymore, they struggle. It´s all about supply and demand, and these days the demand is on Tiktok format.

Coming here as a progressive, socialist loving, British gay male. Not one to usually comment, but bravo to PBS for this great show. It’s striking to me that when stripped back to fundamental principles, Ann’s beliefs in this interview aren’t too far from mine. Ann speaks beautifully, and I appreciated her take on political adversaries. She’s provided a great example here of how to discuss conflicting ideas without the venomous attacks and intensity that’s become the norm, both in US and UK culture. I am usually cautious of listening to interviews like this because of the ‘them-versus-us’, personal and divisional attacks aimed, but I admire Ann’s respect, humour and humanity in this video. Even with views that I didn’t like or support, Ann’s research to support her argument has reminded me of compassion and reasoning that’s missing in today’s age of free speech. Less of the blame game, less vitriol, but holding people to account when appropriate. A willingness to engage and listen to counter arguments is important, and I enjoyed questioning my own views while watching. I think humility is missing in today’s political arena, and I thank Ann for adding to my hope for more harmonious government practises. X

And here, she is given plenty of time to answer without being interrupted. And I'm really surprised on how well spoken, intellectual, and how her responses make so much sense. Faithin Verity now consider why is it you held this misconception for so many years if not a decade? What was it about how you had these thoughts that were so misaligned with reality? What was it about you that allowed yourself to believe the collective slander and lies that have been always towards a conservative successful independent woman like Ann Coulter? Now imagine how the media and those that live in insulated isolated coastal bubbles do this with everything else. This was just one woman that lead you to have a misconception held for multiple years. And you believed such lies with very little reported on her, from a few vitriolic hateful slanderous words. Now imagine an actual concerted effort, and how much it brainwashes those on the left..

I do the same as it relates to Democrats when I agree with what is being said or done. I am not with that whole it can't be a D and I will support it even if I agree 💯. I won't hesitate to say I like Tulsi Gabbard and much if what she stands for, some of Elizabeth Warren's sentiments, old Bernie sentiments and James Trafficant. And forever and always non-interventionist sentiments from anyone on the left. I canexpound and get more particular with my views and the connections to the prior statements but to keep it simple I very much like the ability for parties and coalitions to pop up in Europe so much easier there (really at all because they can't here).

Curtis Forbes in depth interviews are the best. I agree with much of what Ann writes about the more I see what she talks about. I was listening to Victor Davis Hanson talk about the town he was raised in and how it’s changed, deteriorated, over the years and the huge numbers of illegals, and gang bangers. He talks about how the area was family farms and manufacturing, friends would graduate high school and get great jobs and how it was all wiped out with globalization, illegal immigration and a bankrupt state. Often I don’t even recognize the town I spent 35 years living and working in, Santa Barbara. I walk around on the Westside and it looks like Mexico or some other Central American country.

Hey. Quit identifying by party. These parties do not represent you. They represent alternate desires and needs. Therefore you need to vote by what the country needs most at that time. Each party has its strengths and weaknesses. In 2008 we needed a Democrat to reverse some if the toxic shit that Bush did. In 2016 we needed a republican to reverse some of the toxic shit Obama did. And thats exactly how I voted personally. I voted for Obama AND I voted for Trump. A constant democratic presidency will eventually lead to legitimate communism. And vice versa. I actually like Ann when she’s not throwing Molotov Cocktails for the sound bite. But in her defense, if she didn’t throw those we probably wouldn’t know her name. She’s an intelligent nuanced thinker who, even when she’s wrong, makes a great point. Dissent is the lifeblood of Democracy

No... She's exactly the same. Lol You are just waking up and realizing that you have been badly manipulated to not even consider listening to certain ppls opinions (bc they're so powerful). So congrats on being open to outside opinions and don't stop! It's the best way to figure out what your actual opinions are lol hearing BOTH sides. Scary to the MSM bc the truth IS on our side. They made me dislike her for no reason too but I have been red pilled for almost 4 years now and now she's like my hero!

Yes its really disconcerting listening to ANN COULTER and not fuming at every word out of her mouth. Still think she',s a racist immigrant hypocrite though, out for a racially heirachichal America when her forebears were immigrants.

Atlas Latest ,not everything, I watch some of those meetings Trump has, action speaks louder than words, Trump love America and the people. Like many conservative people ,that get rich, history shows they desire to give back. PS conservative not many of the democrats can or will hold this view. No longer a a democrat is writing this, the party is corrupt ,and it holds some of these views even from the constitution. Especially seen from the formation of the Republican Party, main reason was to fight slavery, but this encompasses the idea ,that men were undermining the foundation of the constitution. Free economy, a government that limits government, that limits law and regulations and put the overall power in the people’s hands.

@Vlodec that Trump isn't a genius he just picked up the 1000 dollar bill on the floor. Many not all but a large majority of white Americans feel that between the robots and the immigrants we don't have a prayer. She is right that giving mass citizenship to millions of immigrants like Regan did creates even more imigration. She is right if Trump doesn't build that Wall he's gone.

@Vlodec it's seems like your the narrow minded one. Many white Americans are sick of illegal immigration on our dime. We feed your kids, educate them, heal them, give them work, give them clothes, and give them a future on taxpayer money..... Yet homelessness amongst vets is sky high, banks get away with murder, immigration is keeping wages down. Not everything but it's a start.

Still don't agree with a lot of her positions, not as many as I'd assumed, but she was willing to stand up and shout the emperor is naked when it was appropriate. Just wish we could get more honest and clear minds on the Left. Thanks Ann and Frontline.

I always really liked Ann Coulter just because of the way she looks and talks. I never really listened to her because I feel she is being purposely inflammatory. However, now, listening to her for perhaps the first time ever, she makes sense. I can see why people think she is racist and hateful, but I really think she is being very rational at the cost of being empathetic. People hate that. Reason without empathy. But, I am drawn to it.

@Rick Ramirez Yep, she has no compassion for those who willfully violate our nation's immigration laws and impose themselves on our country, all the while demanding sympathy and our tax dollars. Granted, the children of the illegal invaders simply went along with the wrong choices of their parents. However, a sane nation cannot take in everyone, and we've reached a point where we've got to say NO! Besides, I don't want to become an alien in my own land any more than the Japanese want to be overtaken by anglos, blacks, Chinese or any other racial or ethnic identity.
