The lady at the start of this video hit the nail on the head when she said spirits are not the scarry entity's most of us think they are from my personal experiences they are just our loved ones, friends normal beings that like us just want to be heard or in some cases need some closure we just as humans fear the unknown, the unexplainable. My grandmother used to tell me " it's the living you should fear not the dead it's the living who can harm you "

You're exactly right. I make spell/ritual candles for a living and I regularly get people wanting ones to "banish evil spirits", and I'm constantly trying to explain that their spirit is just likely trying to get their attention. That's all. I live in a 100yo building in Elkins Park PA. It is RIFE with spirits. Last year the one in my apartment ran by me so fast that I literally jumped out of the way, I initially thought it was my then-husband, but it happened so fast; I was standing at the sink and he went past my right side, through the counter then through the wall in less than a second. A couple months later my husband took his life, this was last July. Now he's the only spirit in the apartment but I know he'll come with me when I move. The basement is packed with spirits, too. I don't think my husband allows the old spirits to be in my apartment (which is SO him!) He was extremely kind but also kind of a bossy bully. In the best way possible, I know how that sounds lol.

@@mariatorres5563 you don't have to do anything. It's just easy for spirits to use things like water, copper, and electricity to communicate with the living. Talk to them. Then listen. Spirits essentially use your brain like a filing cabinet. If you speak to a spirit and then pay attention to what pops into your head, that is a common way for them to answer you.

I am a medium and it's best to speak as nicely as you can if you absolutely have to speak to them. I prefer not to speak to them unless it's necessary. Lol. Because they will definitely do bad things if you are disrespectful or follow you home if you're too nice. I don't understand why she did that really either other than trying not to anger them. I think the spirits there know her and are used to her because she has been there before. So they probably weren't bothered by it. But just not how I deal with them. Lol. But then again I choose not to go to places like that. Whereas that's her job. Saying you love them is a big no no in my opinion. That's how you end up being followed by something bad...

Been to new hope a few times. Lovely place. My two friends and I walked into a shop that seemed perfectly innocuous. It had random things like souvenirs and vintage items. I suddenly felt this electric vibration course through my body and the whole place seemed alive, like a hat could suddenly propel toward me or I was being watched by ghosts. My friends and I weren’t talking while inside but when we came outside one of us said, “ that place was haunted.” Myself and my other friend agreed, full stop. Never had an experience like that since. None of us believed in anything like that.

My ex gf was from Abington,PA and she loved going to New hope for visits. I remember she was so excited to first show me the town. It's quaint and so old, there's a real haunted feel there you can't help but notice. I think I even mentioned to her while we were roaming the town and it's many cool shops that I felt very strongly that new hope has got to be haunted. You feel there presence there especially near the rivers edge which I'm sure only fuels the activity here. Also at the old train station I remembered having a flash image stepping back into almost colonial times. I could see what it looked like back in the day in my minds eye. But I'm also very intuitive and empathic person and the paranormal and spirits are most definitely attracted to me. I highly suggest if your in the area to check out New Hope, it's beautiful and one of a kind place full of free spirits as well as spirit spirits lol you won't be disappointed.

We had a house on River Rd. Washington's Crossing for the better part of the 1900s. I was recently telling my bf about how the colonial spirit is still alive & strong there. You can feel it & see it. How there are still old stone walls all over & the buildings with signs that say "Washington's slept here" etc...we live in San Diego & though there are haunted places it isn't that strong colonial feel at all. There is something very special about that whole area & as an intuitive I was very blessed to be born to that place. One day I still vow to buy my old family home back.

Oh dude it’s because you weren’t receptive. Haha no, joking. Seems like a cool place to visit. I have in-laws in Mississippi and never experienced anything paranormal until we moved out there for a while. Suffice it to say we had to leave due to how “heavy” the air got down there. I’d get to some historical house and get a horrible feeling in my bones. Something was wrong but I didn’t know what. I later found out there was a multiple murder at that place, it had something to do with the slave era. Then another example is there was a one room in my mother in laws house that everyone claimed was haunted. My wife refused to sleep in that room, so on a whim I decided to, just to see what might take place. Nothing ever did. It must have something to do with who you are, and whether anything wants to communicate with you. I never believed anything like that until I actually Saw and felt it for myself. Either way, when you go to a place with a rich history it seems to kind of increase the chances of weird paranormal shit happening. Cheers 🍻

I really appreciate the delivery of all the people who spoke in this. When you do psychic/medium/energy work it's scary to talk about what you do, or for me it is anyway. I'm scared of being thought of as nuts, but why? I shouldn't care what people who don't experience the things I do think of me. The blonde woman with bangs, I could relate to so hard, especially when she said "I can't picture life without spirits, because they've always been there." I've never ever come across an "evil" spirit. Spirits do hang onto their personalities and some people have lousy personalities. I've asked a couple not to come back (my late husband's father, for example, because he was very aggressive and when I "met" him it felt like someone narcissistic was sitting on my chest.) And my husband killed himself last year and he can be bossy; a couple days ago I *heard* "dust my guitars" and I thought back, I'll do it when I sweep the bedroom, and immediately I heard back "you'll do it now." 😂 So I did, they were pretty bad and I didn't know it. He was a death metal musician, his music stuff was his life, and he loves the crap out of me but he's still bossy! But since his death he's helped me in ways I can't even begin to explain. He still takes care of me. I would be so lonely without spirits around me. And I would feel blind and so sad if I lost my psychic "pings."

❤ this! My father has passed, but he stays around. He tells my sister what to do all the time in regards to caring for my mom. He even hit her with a piece of wood...wish I had seen that. Talk about bossy...Mom was never psychic a day in her life & NEVER believed me as I grew up scared constantly by ghosts, energies etc. Now she hears him clear as day & believes me. Took me a long time to not be scared & to be in command of my own energy & space. I have seen negative entities of many kinds tho. They are very real, as real as those who were human & have passed. Keeping your vibration high will keep them away from you, but as a universal law they must show themselves to you. Good to remember we always have the upper hand. Blessings to you

This was exactly the type of show I was looking for, so I'm giving this a thumbs up for the strength of the beginning half and in spite of the closing half. Treating that "sensitive" woman and her photographer associate as legitimate investigators worth time in a broadcast is baffling. They're probably perfectly nice individuals and I don't think they're charlatans -- he genuinely seems to not know the very mundane reasons why he keeps getting orbs and light artifacts in his flash photographs and she, I'm sorry to observe, seems well-meaning but mentally unwell, and I say this as someone who believes in psychics and ghosts. Of course, this was filmed more than two decades ago; perhaps they've reevaluated their methodology since then.

I wish I had known about the haunted places there when I lived there. It's only the last five years or so that I've become aware of some of the more interesting PA history.

We had a house on the Jersey side right on the river as a child. As a teen & young adult we would go to New Hope to wander around for the day usually on New Years Day. I had no idea it was so haunted, but I'm not surprised. If I ever get back there I will be happy to stay for a few days & investigate 👻❤

Beautiful town. I'd love to visit. PA is a beautiful state. The only thing that was getting on my nerves was when they were in the cemetery and the camera guy kept zooming in and out on the light and moving the camera around. I wish they would've left the camera stationary so we could get a better sense of what was going on.

I live in the area, maybe 8 minutes from town. I’ve never experienced anything walking through. I have heard that The Logan Inn is haunted though. It’s a pre revolution inn where during the winter when soldiers couldn’t be buried in frozen ground they put the bodies in the inn basement.

Yep and you can make them mad to. I've always treated them with respect. I don't go out of my way to get them to interact with Me. But I do acknowledge when they do something that gets my attention Like the time a knife flew out of dishrack and landed over 4 ft away Or the time I was the only one home in my office in the basement when the stereo in living room came on with volume turned all the way up

I used to live in new hope. I lived there for 3 years with my fiancé and even knew Bob Grensor and some of the others in this documentary pretty well. I never had a paranormal experience at any of the places off of Maine street, buuuuuttt………I used to be in a band with the daughter, Heather, of the people who run the local horse carriage business and when I went to there house for band practice…………CRAZY haunted! And not in a good way! The house was crazy old and there basement had old ass rusted shackles on the walls where it looked like people used to be restrained to!!

I have always had Something Spiritual inside as a very young girl I never Scared easily and the dark never scared me either ..In Fact Im a Night Person I dont know if that has any Corrolation to the After life or not? But I Really Got The Belief and Deep Faith about 15 yrs ago now... I am 60 yrs old now... And since Believing in the Afterlife if you will Spirit Knows that I do cause I have Captured Many Orb's Spirit energy on camera! Specially around my own house and my dear mother who passed in 2018 at just 80 yrs old the night she passed she and i believe the Angel of Death I saw I believe at the exact time she passed at the nursing home we were at just an hour before When Nurse called to say mom passed It was discovered it was at the same time I saw a Dark Figure pasd by the Living room window it was 12:30 am... My Mom I capture her spirit orb many times on camera and out the Perifreal vision... and she thelast almost 4 yrs now sends me strong signs shes here with me... one night about three months ago I was laying on couch and she whispered quite clear Pammy and next night Very much Cold all over my Face and mouth as if shes kissing me...

For its size New Hope is the most haunted. Only maybe six blocks long with most stores being on Main & Bridge, Mechanic Sts. 2000 people at best. I found out my parents house was in the ghost tour when we were visiting one weekend. Saw a group of people standing across the street & pointing. I asked & as soon as I said my parents lived there they told the story of a woman who fell in love with a mill worker & he left her alone & pregnant. He Dad delivered the baby & killed it & they disappeared. You can hear strange knocks on the front door & a baby crying. 👻

The one thing i couldnt forget in my whole life is , was when grandma was dying and heard the family dog and cat crying,_ creepy cries, i woke up my late mom and we two went down to ground floor where grandma s room was. Thd3 two beloved pets crying beside her bed. The cat on granma s head and the dog on her right shoulder crying too. A lady neighbor came to do The Prayer for Dying_ then Suddenly The Room curtains were lifting and flying around inspite that The Windows were shut down because it was raining.! THEN.. i saw .. IT...! FLYING around circling around the curtains. I was shocked looking at THE SOUL going back to enter my grandma s nose everytime the dog howled and cat hissing when the soul attempted to exit away from grandma. Nose or open mouth ! ! I raised my voice to mother to open the curtains and esp the windows. When it was opened, a WHOOSHED of strong air followed that caught the two pets in surprised! Thats why i vowed never to be in hosp. Or at my dying relatives or friends houses. I have many experiences with benevolent and malevnlent spirits. I fight the malevolents with Lords Prayers and Masses. I talk to benevolent spirits and sharing my life and dwellings with them. Im Blessed now because The Malevolents never visited me anymore.🙏🙏❤️

Well, there are time and space, where you feel familiar, like you've been there before... Thousand of years before. You know, something like witnessing Pontius Pilate backed away... And the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. What was Jesus's last word? Was it "Father, why have you forsaken me?" Or was it "It is done?" 🤔. Interestingly tho, there was eclipse happening, and the world turning into darkness. 🤔. Do you guys still remember, what it felt slipping through darkness, only to realize you're being RE-born again? Nah... Don't mind my rumbling. I'm probably just an insane old soul.

Ghosts hide or reside inside buildings, literally inside, the spaces between floors and ceilings, the small spaces in the walls of buildings, they absolutely exist, I was a total skeptic, but since we have cameras everywhere, the captures are stunning, aside from hoaxes.
