I've been going to Matt for almost 3 years now. Didn't know he had this video until today, and I can confirm that he is truly the best at his profession, always gives what you ask for, and his care for his customers is unquestionable. Anybody in the Phoenix area should definitely go to him, but be patient because he usually does have a long line of customers waiting unless you get lucky. (by the way his barber parlor is way cooler than what is shown on the video, filled with comic memorabilia, always playing a good movie while you wait, and even has a life sized batman as well.) 100% recommend checking him out!!

I've seen a lot of your videos. And I think this by far this is the only barber who I think nailed the haircut that fits you. Lookin like a new man after the cut! And that is what distinguishes a good barber from a MASTER barber. Once they flip that chair around and you see how you look, completely changes your mood. Then on top of that, the customer service, the attention to detail, his politeness, his whole demeanor is just truly masterful, kinda makes you feel like you went back in time. Awesome video and barber!

Barber has an outstanding approach to customer service. It'd seem false in Britain but seems natural from this guy. It's "different" but not "strange" how the barber seeks consent for every action he takes. I get a sense of utter relaxation watching these videos. Keep up the channel!

Thanks J Coogan , Yes to most people from the UK the initial reaction to USA customer service is that it is fake ... but the bottom line is that irrespective of the business, they want a happy repeat customer. I do not know if you have watched the interview with Matthew, but he talks about his style of customer service as a cooperative effort :-)

Customer service is a great Strength to have! This industry truly lacks customer service, to much ego. Make your customers feel welcomed, guarantee they’ll always return! I been cutting for over 10 year now, When I first started cutting hair I obviously wasn’t the best, But i alway made myself approachable & non-intimidating, I always stayed busier than the more experience Barbere‘s. I just went to Matt for the first time today and I've been watching this video and the related shave video since it first appeared in 2014. He's as talented as this video advertises. Also, he's super relatable and kind. I needed a barber who could step up to the task of getting me and my groomsmen looking sharp for my wedding. "Overdelivered" is an understatement. He's a little far from where I live but was wholly worth the drive. I am sold and know I need to make the excursion regularly.
