It's kind of just that the B-25 switch were the first to strike back at Japan made them so miserable in the Marianas andalusians this aircraft flew off carriers and when high altitude bombing wasn't working they developed the skip bomb technique this aircraft does not get the just recognition it deserves and it wasn't afraid of taking on a fighter either

What if???? The carriers operating in the Aleutians were present for the midway operation. The Aleutian operation was a waste of time as it was meaningless.

What if? "By war's end in 1945, the United States Navy had added nearly 1,200 major combatant ships, including ninety-nine aircraft carriers, eight "fast" battleships, and ten prewar "old" battleships totaling over 70% of the world's total numbers and total tonnage of naval vessels of 1,000 tons or greater." -Battle of Okinawa You can pray for a quick surrender but that was never going to happen. Defeat was inevitable.
