I like how Netflix drops him. The New Yorker disparages him. Yet he's resilient and attracts top guests that these others wouldn't be able to get on their shows.

*Left Guests... Would love to see him speak with some top voices on the right, like Trump, Musk, Ramaswammy, Vance, etc. But I don't think he can speak with people who are both smarter than him & disagree with him. It's just easier to have these softball talks that go nowhere and shake their fists at billionaires.

Just realized while watching this, he mostly interviews leftist desi Muslims...I'm so glad to be Republican. I too am desi, but hey Zeus, I don't only want to talk to my ppl that agree with me. A great interview. I was born and raised in Japan and came to the US in 1991. I love Politics and that's why I love both Hasan and Fareed. But I have to say that I was super disappointed when Fareed supported the invasion of Iraq when it was debated in the US. I couldn't figure out how someone so intelligent ant and knowledgeable as Fareed could be blinded by the idea that invading Iraq was such a good idea.

@@imacg5I agree completely. Thankfully, Fareed has "matured" into a more astute and aware citizen. It is probably very hard to succeed in the mainstream media controlled by mad morons who invoke fear among journalists. Hasan you're one of the only people doing what Jon Stewart used to do and, while you're not as aggressive in your viewpoint, I think you manage to do a great job being respectful in pushing your subjects to address sticky criticisms of their insulated perspectives. These conversations between generations in Desi and Muslim communities really needed to happen, and I'm glad you're doing more than that too. I'm really happy to see you continue to do what you're so good at, promoting thoughtful dialogues with great humour (I absolutely loved the glasses in mouth gag lmao), and that you are so authentic to the people who have supported you and need your responsible use of your platform. Appreciate your work a lot.

@LeninMcDonaldsАй бұрын
He seems very ‘centre’ in terms of American politics. Very conservative and moderate in his approach. Much like many first gen immigrants. But the centre in America is pretty right leaning. Like he rightly points out Hassan grew up more like a 2nd genner (had his schooling etc in us) which makes a huge difference in his more left leaning approach. While I’m sure Zakaria is a very wonderful human being , his political stance is increasingly being co-opted by the extreme right, making it a slippery slope into stronger takeover by big money and capital. Especially in USA.
