I love their coats! Anyway to find out the brand? Love London! Looking at getting stationed in Lakenheath next summer!

I've often wondered about US personal getting stationed oversea, clearly you can't pick were you want to go for the next 3 years, but you must a have a list to pick from and a top 3 preference? How does it work.....? Thanks...

Charming video. Friends from the US who visited London with me were disappointed it didn't rain, although the following 5 days of Norfolk downpours made up for it. Thank you for sharing.

That's what I told her... It wouldn't feel right if you came here and it DIDN'T rain!

@@americanabby March is probably the most miserable month of the year - and that goes for much of Northern Europe too - and Italy. It is getting a bit lighter but it can be very cold and of course, rainy.

Another lovely post sorry for our awful weather but I forgot to say welcome 🇬🇧

I wouldn't call it awful. It's wonderful when you're inside looking out! (just a little sloppy when you're walking though it!)

Thanks for the videos! I have orders there later this year and I’m super excited to go. Do you have any tips about being over there or things I should prepare for?

We sold all our furniture and vehicles before coming over because we heard that was the best option due to small roads and small houses. However, we have found that to not necessarily be the case. I wish I still had my big SUV because most of the roads and parking around here isn't an issue and it's super hard to find one to buy. As for furniture, I would bring everything you like, because even if you end up getting a small house, there are ample opportunities to sell your American spec furniture when you get here.

Rainy days are NOT typical in London. Many US cities have a lot more rain. NYC has much more rain than London. I don’t know why that myth is perpetuated. Maybe because London is no longer foggy, due to clean fuels, people with little education and fewer brains feel they have to pretend to be experts. - after three days in a London hotel they suddenly know all about Britain and British culture ( “ oh , they’re very reserved you know”)
