I was in Mobile in the very early 70's. Please someone tell me what area of the city is Africa Town. I never heard of it during my stint there. I love Mobile. I learn of it on 60 minutes...

It's on the north side of Mobile. It's also referred to as the Plateau or Magazine section of Mobile. It's just east of Prichard & south of Chickasaw. Also, exit 2 off of I-165 is Africatown Blvd.
