Randy Seol had the best answer. And he was only about 18 years old in 1967, when this interview was recorded. Randy has always been very gifted, and highly intelligent. One of the best drummers in the world also.

And I think he did with LS. He did so well with LS. Then he left, couldn’t take it anymore. But his time with the band even though not in it’s entirety, resulted in rock gold. His playing and writing put them on the map. Little did he know of the future. RIP ED.

Can someone identify all the band members left to right, please? Most especially the two guys at extreme right, but all 6 would be great. Thanks

You know, I’m not a fan of his interviews. His one with Burt Bacharach is cringy.

He was awkward as H. It must have been hard to shift from interviewing the clean cut acts from the 50’s & early 60’s to this crowd…

@@richieboy6825 not in the least.. Dick Clark asked the same type of questions to every band or artist for decades..he was oblivious to who he was interviewing..

@@pgroove163 perhaps- but the kind of answers he got in return were vastly different from one era to the next.

Isn't this originally in color? I saw a Time Life infomercial where this clip was in color. What happened to the tape, if it's fine, will you release it?

This is a kinescope. I think they started broadcasting in color in 1967
@oldiesgeek454 Жыл бұрын
@michael. It would be interesting to me anyway, to see a demonstration of how Kinescopes were made. I've heard they somehow transferred the original videotape master, to black and white film. I've also read, that they aimed a black and white film camera at a TV monitor, in order to make a Kinescope. 😊
