I met George and Randy in the Summer of 1975. George was living North of San Diego and he and Randy and others were in the midst of writing a double album based on the Barnum and Bailey Circus. My roommate was playing woodwinds for them and invited me to go with him a number of times. George was a really nice guy with tons of stories about the early days and Ed King. I don’t think the album went anywhere but it was good. Saw and talked to George at an “oldies” concert in the mid ‘80’s. He told me my old roommate (Richard) had become an emergency doctor in Los Angeles.

I work for Gene Gunnels, in Las Vegas. It was my first job after I moved here, and I continue today, even having a full time job. Its a labor of love, working over a deep fryer. And Gene earned my loyalty years ago.

I was a member of Thunder Chicken in Salt Lake City with Jimmy Pittman. In actuality, our band was briefly called this, but most of our music through the few years we were "WaterBrother".

You didn't mention the under performing 1968 single release of Sit With The Guru. It's a beautiful song with lots of major 7ths and minor 7ths. True musicianship. It was a real mirror of the times.

It’s an interesting song for its time.

Randy was living in the Baja for a while. I saw him perform a version of Incense and Peppermints with local pick up musicians there. They nailed it. It was at the Lighthouse Bar on the beach, south of Rosarito, Mexico. prob 2015

It's a great song- epitomizes the psychedelic period beautifully. The lyrics are timeless- beatniks and politics, nothin is new, a yardstick for lunatics, one point of view....

I guess you don't know anything about the Alarm Clock. Steve Bartek co-wrote songs for the SAC album but was to young to play with the band. He went on to play guitar for Oingo Boingo and has scored over 50 Danny Elfman films. He still performs with SAC.
