The day of humble, truly talented artists.

This is what I loved about Dick Clark's American Bandstand. He would interview the musicians, while many other shows would just have them do their song and get them off right away. Miss you Dick and you too Dan Seals

I appreciate the music of England Dan and John Ford Coley. They are one of the classic groups, with many positive songs that are winners. Thank you for giving me several of wonderful years (1970 to 1990) of influential positive songs from a music group that has sustainable music that is quality, enjoyable and healing.

God …. Dick Clark was absolutely awesome. Back in the day I’d be like, enough Dick. Now, it’s Priceless. And he’s like this with every artist.

Dick seemed a little bit aggressive with his probing but the guys just shrugged it off. Boy, does Dan have a beautiful speaking voice too

Yes thought very rude- trying to be clever interviewer. ‘Gentle giant’ Dan and soft spoken JFColey

Wow yes, which I didn't realize until now. Plus, he's wearing what appears to be platform shoes (which was very common back then), so that adds to it a bit...

Is it just me or does Dick Clark seem to be obsessed with 'time/duration'? Odd interview, IMHO.

I love Dick Clark but looking back on his American Band Stand interviews GOLLY they were awkward
@cardtrix19703 жыл бұрын
Duck Clark only had-I believe-3 Monte a for the(these)interviews; I'm in the business, so...I get it. You ate trying to get a lot of things "in" within a small amount of time.
@cardtrix19703 жыл бұрын
@@bradlafferty6076 Well...a lot of these groups/artists were not that good at being interviewed. Mr. Clark was smooth and a pro; It's not as easy as it may seem to be. He had 3 minutes to..."get it all in".
