Thank you! It means a lot when I hear how much people enjoy the videos. We have lots more to come over the winter, even though the season is over. 🙂

What a beautiful sight, seeing the tug and ship work together. I haven’t seen that since I was a little girl living in dependents’ housing (Yamashita Park) on Yokohama Bay in Japan in 1958.

Kind of hard to imagine such a small tug moving such a giant beast, right? 🙂

Bracing for an unusual cold tonight. Is my liking your channel and wonderful content to blame? Cold is good, but not in my back yard! Love the show!!!

I was surprised how little ice the Century and Missouri had to deal with, for 12 Jan. Great video, colour was perfect. Cheers!

The ice moves around quite a bit. When I saw the Paul R. Tregurtha depart through the same canal the next day, most of the canal was covered in ice. Made for some fun viewing!

American Century and the Elevator "M" Dock will have plenty of time to talk about all sorts of things. I wonder what might be the first topic? Regardless, I don't think I could handle the cold. I can barely deal with the Northern Utah temperatures of 17°(F) in the morning and 25°(F) in the afternoon. And I work outside! 🥶 😅

The Century can also chat with the Walter J. McCarthy Jr. nearby. They can catch up on all of the company gossip. 😁

Night videography at it’s very finest. Do many ships layup in Superior? Don’t recall hearing of Superior as a location that serves as a layup location.

Thanks Greg! There are two 1000-footers at Elevator M/Lakehead Pipeline. At Fraser shipyard there are four ships, including the Michipicoten. Two boats are at Port Terminal in Duluth, including the 1000-foot Presque Isle.
