Thing is, you cannot really see the strength and depth of Antoine Dupont just through cut actions like that. He is a thinker, an observer. He sees, he thinks, he acts. It is better to watch an entire game while he's on the field so you can catch how he manage the rythme of his team and the overall match. And when you do, you'll probably witness one of the best player rugby has ever had.

Please react to Jonny Wilkinson, he’s probably the greatest English player ever. Dupont reminds me of him in some ways - although he played at 10 rather than 9. Jonny was one of the hardest hitters in the game - despite being fairly small - which unfortunately led to big injury problems for him throughout his career. He was also one of the greatest kickers ever, and amazingly he could kick just as well with either foot. He won us the World Cup against Australia, with an extra-time drop goal from his “weaker” right foot! Beyond that he’s also a fantastic person and role model. He might be the only English rugby player who is loved all over the world - particularly in France! There’s an excellent short Guinness advert which explains his time at Toulon, and the impact he had on the community - well worth a watch.

@@jw3505 well he used to be known as the hardest hitter in Rugby League and Union till they took the shoulder tackle rule away, (he was a heavy weight boxing champion in WBO so for him to load up and drive shoulder into players was like a boxer swinging a hook for a Ko.)but almost all of his big hits would be before they changed the tackling rules so almost all his highlight tackles would be penalized in todays game. He is now retired from Rugby League and Union to go back into boxing. and pray to Alah i guess since he found religion. I wish he would do Richie and Dan Carter but they are now retired so i get it. their squad only lost 3 total games in a 8 year stretch in one point in history. back to back world cup champions nothing left to play for those two Dan retires from international duty to make money in either Europe or Japan, most Kiwi's usually retire from AllBlacks while they are still marketable to join European Rugby or Japan to make large money contracts before they to old since NZ local rugby pay is peanuts and a thank you lol (this is including Super Rugby Clubs) Richie didnt go over seas to make money he just jumped in his Helicopters. I wonder if south AFricans do this to? retire from the boks to play for money in european or japanies league. oh and the new American Rugbly Union got Ma Nonu out of retirement to play in that pro league , they must be paying well in America for that MRL or what ever it is.

Antoine is crazy physical, probably the most physical ever at his position (with Kelleher I'd say) plus you're adding lighting speed in first 10 meters so he can get out of that line break and find people or go all the way. Really hard to defend as he's also turning into a very solid front pack general , applying Galthié / Mola (France / Toulouse coaches) strategy together with his teammate on both Romain NTamack which you should really have a look. My man is classy and has cold boiling blood in his vein. Watch the incoming 6Nations if you can, gonna be a wild wild year. So excited, take care man, vote Democrat (not the Munchin/Sinema cunts though) ;)

I think because every positions focuses on a specific job its hard to label anyone as the best rugby player. I think you'd have to say who is the best in a position and select a best 15. But even then that team might not necessarily be great because of combinations structures etc. A prop would never make a top 10 list but might be the best in their position in the world.
