Cadbury from Australia is made in Hobart, Tasmania. The main ingredient is full cream milk; compared to that made by Hershey's in America, where sugar is listed as the main ingredient.

You need to try to do the Tim Tam slam! You bite off a corner and then the opposite. You can drink milk through a cookie! Yummmm

Aww, so happy that Sage loves the Koala! haha! You had 'Arnotts' right the first time. We say it like 'Ar-nets' Smores are kind of a thing in Australia. Graham crackers don't really exist in Australia, so we have to substitute with other things, which means we don't do them often. (we also don't have a lot of bonfires, cause bushfires) I wish I watched this before I went grocery shopping cause now I really want Jaffas 😛 So glad you liked it all!

Whenever we think we pronounce a name or word correctly after trying it a few different ways, we always find that the first way was right! Lol. Sage really does love the koala. Thanks again for that! It’s amazing how many Jaffas are in that small bag you sent us 😮

“Is s’mores a thing in Australia?” That’s a good question to ask Luke and Dom of ReviewTyme
@jillhobson61283 жыл бұрын
What is s'mores?
@FromtheHobbitHole3 жыл бұрын
S’mores is made by taking a marshmallow that’s roasted over a fire and placing it alongside a piece of flat chocolate (typically Hershey’s here in the States) and sandwiching it between two Graham Crackers. We understand that the Graham Crackers is a primarily US thing, so it’s akin to a digestive biscuit.

Always good to see a video from you. Loved you trying the snacks and chocs from Australia. The Musk Sticks look similar to a UK retro sweet called Fruit Sticks or something called Coltsfoot Rock, although would certainly have a different taste if you tried those! (The last one especially). Hope you are all doing well and thanks for an enjoyable watch as always.

Most people think it tastes like kissing your grandmother's check. Musk's floral flavour and aroma are reminiscent of musk perfume, Musk belongs to the amber fragrance family. The candy also comes in Fruit Sticks, with the flavours of orange, lemon, lime and raspberry.

Musk sticks are great to keep in the toilet (bathroom) Keeps the air smelling fresh and flowery and, makes for a great snack while you're otherwise occupied on the seat posting your parcels to Santa :) BTW, that flavour is called MUSK lol, hence the name :)

Tim Tams are the same as penguin biscuits in the Uk. Penguins were the original. Apparently someone from the Australian company came to England and visited where penguins were made and took the recipe bak with him.

The closest to s’mores in Australia is damper. Damper is a bread that is usually cooked in a camp oven but whenever we have campfires especially when we were school aged we would have the damper on sticks which you heat over the campfire.

I add comments while video is playing.. Jaffas way back in the 60's & 70's had an add on TV about rolling Jaffas down the isle (wood floor) of the movie theatre.. When I was a kid, about 50 years ago, we just lobbed them over the head of the people in the row in front. To hit the rows in front of them..

My favourite sweet snack is a Violet Crumble, it is chocolate coated honeycomb; the honeycomb is denser than a Crunchie, it has a butterscotch toffee flavour and it dissolves completely in your mouth unlike the Crunchie which tends to clump as it dissolves. It was originally made by Hoadley's Confectionery from Melbourne, Hoadley's was bought by Nestle; then South Australian confectionery Robern Menz acquired the intellectual property rights from Nestle. Menz subsequently acquired the intellectual property rights to another of Hoadley's original confectionery, the Polly Waffle; this is a soft marshmallow inside a waffle tube and coated in Milk chocolate.

You need to do the TimTam slam with hot COFFEE. If you think it melts in your mouth quickly, wait until you try sucking coffee through it like a straw and then slamming the whole biscuit in your mouth. It collapses like a sinkhole.

Watched this documentary on why Europe's typically don't like American chocolate. Thought it was interesting the reasoning why they think a lot of America chocolate has a bitter almost baby vomit taste to it. Before electric refrigeration milk would only last 72 hours before in would spoil and have to be thrown out. Milton Hershey figure out he could make the milk used in his chocolate more shelf stable by adding an enzyme like butyric acid to break down the fats to smaller molecules in milk. This process might of made the milk last longer, but that is why Hershey's chocolate has a bit of a bitter taste to it. When so many other chocolate factorys like Cadbury stopped candy production and manufacturing machines parts for planes/ etc during WWI Hershey's chocolate had secured government contracts producing MREs with his companies chocolate bar inside. The American soldiers grew accustomed to the bitterness of the chocolate and more or less became the new normal standard chocolate bar of choice when they came back home after the war was over.

I feel you guys (as well as Not Your Normal Guy Theme Parks) use the Shorts feature akin to TikTok (which is the intent) or Instagram Stories (which is interesting of Trent, who also has a Disney Movie channel-but he’s currently dumping old videos there like how I am with History & Leisure while I’m in Ohio)
