Oh yes and if someone is wearing a kilt. Dont try upskirting or looking under the kilt. Its not funny. it is classified as an assault and its not acceptable. just be polite and think if i were treated like this how would i feel?

I just cashed out like $450 just for the Ren I'm going to on Sunday and even then I worked at places for the past two weeks to get more money. I can't wait to go again after 6 years! I was pretty alone as an 11-year-old going with my brother who was a staff member but I'm now 17 and can't wait to have a better experience!

I dreamt about you both last night, I haven’t been on your channel for around 3 years or so because I started up my own KZbin channel and was busy trying to get it up and running. I loved all your British snacks taste testing, do you no longer do that? I thought I should come back and start enjoy our channel again 😊

Hey there! Welcome back!! How strange is it that we showed up in a dream?! As for the snack tasting videos, we haven’t uploaded one in over a year. We do have 2 that are filmed and need the editing finished, but currently we are in the middle or our local Renaissance Faire season so that is getting our attention. We do have a very LARGE box of British snacks in our possession that will easily make at least 6 videos worth of content, so there will be more of those videos in the future!

Failure alert ! 😂 the Dutch eat their sprinkles on bread, not on toast. So we do not toast the bread. Two reasons: first, the thick layer of butter or margerine will not melt and the sprinkles are supposed to stick to the butter. Secondly, when you have the sprinkles on the bread you fold the bread in half so get a sprinkles sandwich. That is the way I eat it normally. Now I know, American supermarket bread is crap, do buy it at a bakery or bake your own bread to enjoy it to the max.

I ate Thrills as a kid about 50 years ago and still buy it today when I can find it. We had a lot of candies that were probably considered odd or gross as a kid. I recommend some Chews gum, as a kid they were much more sour compared to today's version. We used to joke that a few kids died eating them so they had to change the formulation.

My mother and I will soon be visiting the Faire this weekend. So, I have a few questions regarding things there you may not have mentioned. 1. Are there any other weapons shoppes besides La Forge worth checking out and if so, where? 2. I was told yesterday that the Mud Pit has been closed up for good. What has been set up there in its place? 3. Are there any new bands/musicians at the Faire worth looking up? I always love buying a CD or DVD from them. Finally...speaking of DVDs, I still own the 25th Anniversary DVD the Faire staff made way back in 2005. Since we'll be entering in the Faire's 41st anniversary, how long do you think it will be before a new DVD will be made to celebrate the shire's history?
@FromtheHobbitHole
@FromtheHobbitHole Ай бұрын
We hope you have a fun time this weekend! We will do our best to answer your questions: 1. Other than La Forge’s handmade weapons shop, you can find licensed swords at Be Steel My Heart, and Canes Enable has some sword canes in their collection. 2. The Mud Pit was replaced by the Treetop Stage. 3. Jeremy Graeff has a new band called Lamning. He used to be a solo act. Other than that, every other musician/band that’s here for Wizarding Weekend has been to PRF in recent years. If you haven’t seen a Hob The Troll show, we highly recommend you check it out! 4. This is currently the 44th year of operation for PRF. If they would do another DVD or special release for an anniversary, our bet is on the 50th anniversary.

Tip from a fairy: if you dress anything remotely child friendly. From Disney cosplay to general fairytale aesthetic, be comfy and prepared for kids to want to talk to you. The wee darlings think all of this is real so don’t be a jerk. I was dressed as a fairytale princess and a tiny knight ran up to talk to me. Did I shoo him away? No! I curtsied and thanks him for protecting the realm to which the sweet little tyke bowed and kissed my hand with mom and dad taking pictures the whole time. Just be mindful that some children want to say hi to the prince, princess, fairy , etc. Just be kind and wholesome, at least for that interaction lol

My outfit consisted of a dragon puppet on my shoulders and a movable head. I would often stop and let the little ones touch his head if they wanted. The parents were always grateful. It’s so sweet because at that age, to them, there really is a dragon sitting on my shoulders😊

PRF has always done improvements, but you are right in saying it seems like a lot more than in the past. Ownership of the Faire has been the same for the past 15 years. A lot of it has to do with the older parts of the Faire needing to be replaced due to age and decay. Also, vendors and performers change regularly which allows the Faire to continually feel fresh and new.
