Yeah! I'm from the U.S. but my mom is Slovene and while I'm only somewhat fluent in Slovenian, my siblings and I have an almost native Ljubljana accent, and my dad has a very clear American accent but can get by a lot of practical situations (going to the store, etc.) fine. I thought that she had a very small accent most of the time and overall very good pronunciations, so good job!

I see some people claiming Slovenian is one of the hardest Slavic languages to learn (presumably they mean for native English speakers.). I would be curious to hear from Slovenians and other Slavic people if they think this is true. Personally, I would probably be choosing between Polish, Russian or Bulgarian, if I chose to learn a Slavic language. Serbo-Croat has an appeal as well.

1. stop putting "e" infront of consonants. It's ALWAYS "ə", which sounds like "duuuuuh", only shorter, so, it's not "eR", but "Rə". 2. say every letter as solo, then just put them together. In Slovene, we seldom change letters.

Actually, they're all in the ballpark and would have been understood by the the local Slovenian populus. These are just the hardest "tongue twisters" to say. It's not like any of the participants didn't have a command of the Slovenian alphabet. Try to get a Spaniard to say "river" or a German to say "squirrel", or a Slovene to use English articles or proper English grammar at all. That's what's funny. Drink Refosk, it'll help you sound like them too! LOL
