I am 28 unable to find a single friend who would treat me the same way asthey treated me when I were nothing. not a single relative even. I am soo used to the materialistic behaviour of people that I feel nothing when people lie on my face for short time benefits and I just let them do it and I don't really care.

I live abroad and after many experiences like this came to a solution, Never share your assets as Junaid Bhai said plus do not look for friends rather be friends to other as much as it does not bother you. Wrong advice here. First of all, you need to understand that you BOTH are not each other’s true friend. You guys are just “passive friends”. If he was your true friend, he’d tell you that he would apply too. On the other hand, if you were his true friend, you won’t mind him applying (as long as at least one of you gets the job). Everyone should be able to apply to any job they feel good about. Neither of you are paying each other’s bills. There’s nothing for him to apologize. You guys are not “true friends” and that’s okay. Not everyone we hang out with is our true friend - some are just acquaintances. You shouldn’t feel bad that a person you “occasionally” hang out with applied to the same job as you. Grow up and move on.

I listen to your videos but I am disappointed by your advice here. The OP has no right to be upset about who applies to what job. The friend is right in keeping his personal life personal. He doesn’t have to tell anyone anything. The OP is reacting negatively about it. The OP is not happy that his friend is at the same job and this is negative desi thinking we need to talk about. I live in Denmark and whenever I see a Pakistani at work they make a face like they own the company and no other Pakistani can apply to that company. I’ve received bad advices regarding my career and life because Pakistanis cannot see anyone else succeed. I’ve seen Pakistanis here wishing no new Pakistanis will come here and steal ‘their’ jobs which they don’t even have. We need to learn that we all can grow together without putting other people down. We need to get out of this negative mindset. This is more harmful.
