People are still hating on Dinklage for saying the truth about a _terrible_ depiction (worse yet than the cartoon caricatures of the animated film), portraying the dwarves as cave dwellers in need of a savior, to which _Disney_ (not Dinklage, Disney) decided to sack all the actors with actual dwarfism, in favor of bad CGI, rather than fix _literally anything_ about their bad remake. Disney doubled down on an offensively awful production while Dinklage got blamed for speaking the truth.

The story you're referring to, was a gross mischaracterization of what happened: Dinklage complained about the Dwarves in the Snow White remake being portrayed as cave dwellers in need of a savior (the representation was actually _worse_ than the caricatures in the original animated film); rather than make a better film, Disney opted to cut real actors with dwarfism from the cast, replaced them with ordinary actors via CGI, & used side-channel accounts to shift blame onto Dinklage himself when the casting changes got out. Dinklage did _nothing_ wrong except have respect for himself & fellow actors. Disney was 1000% at fault for the entire fiasco.
