I was extremely disappointed when "American Dreams" was cancelled; it reminded me of my childhood in the NorthEast in the 1970s-early 1980s. This was a very well-written, creative family show.

I am still waiting for a reboot of some sort! I wanted it to take place in the 1970s, but now, I want it to come back as soon as it possibly can, so it could take place in the early 1980s!

@@Jantv81 Janna Watson, today's kids do know what a television theme. Don't say they do not. I mean, their parents are '90s teens/kids. Besides, they know it courtesy of the internet. In fact, I have a history lesson for ya: I was only 4 when I watched reruns of the shows that my parents watched including The Incredible Hulk, Combat!, The Rat Patrol, WKRP in Cincinnati, Kung Fu, The Streets of San Francisco, Kojak, Starsky and Hutch, Miami Vice, Trapper John, M.D., The Wild Wild West, Mission: Impossible, Adventures of Superman, Ben Casey, etc. In other words, I know the intros very well because I watched them with my mom and my dad (God rest his soul).

Every Sunday Night, I was ready for American Dreams. I am always angry NBC got rid of the show. I think of the show, and how were dealing with problems today, and I think of American Dreams.
