I watch these old films in 2024 because I miss America, even though I still live here.

At the opening of the video, they shown a K&E slide rule, and a Vemco blue dot compass. I wonder if any collectors caught this?

A testament to the days of old, when people had pride in their country, the work that they do, and hope for a better future. I hope one day the world recaptures this spirit, as it is desperately needed.

@@MrShobar Yeah, it's that "hero" thing. Everyone's a frigging hero since 9/11. Wear a uniform and just do your job and you can be a hero. See how the badge wearing PIGS think they can MUR DER people with impunity? Personally I don't shed any tears for dead cops. They can all burn in hell. 👹

@@geoben1810 Yes, now think officers who have died while trying to stop a criminal... They should burn in hell... When all you do is relax and complain about people doing their jobs...

@ Mikko Kuch Really Mickey? Get a grip dude. That " through the roof" ego is how unarmed citizens get murdered by punk cops whose egos have outgrown their authority. Check yourself. 😱

when we look at the first city's to built in America, and today's amazing engineering and many city's, were you to take the population number and apply an average over 9 months of new birth rates , the population and the peoples shipped into America still recognizing the work load of said engineering and city's today. i simply struggle with the fact that over 500 years America and her peoples could have ever physically planned cut the glass cut the beams and forged the metals and so on to have what it has today. And so i think Ive been tripped out of time and literally see over one thousand five hundred years of city building. baring in mind the food issue and farming along with other people personal issues that throughout the day need tending to the maths do not marry the face of America today. So who's the time traveler.
