Oh man. The other day I was teaching homographs. You really don’t realize (as a native speaker) how much those tiny changes make a difference until you teach it. My students tend to struggle with present (PRE-zent) and present (prez-ent). Great job!

I remember talking to you on Skype. You were so kind. I was nervous because I look up to you. You gave me an amazing feedback and I couldn't believe it. I'm glad you're back. I have a question: I have looked for videos that go over the ED verb endings and I do know the rules. However, what happens when we have cases such as: talked to, watched the, liked the, iced tea? Do they sound, in fast speech, like "talk to", "watch the", "like the" and "ice tea"?

Hey! That's so great to hear. I'm glad we're still connected. And Yes! I call those 'Sweet' T's and, in descriptive pronunciation, they will be removed when combined with another consonant sound. No one will be able to tell you've removed those sounds!
