I don't know how you do it, but more power to you. I'd get bored real quick. Nothing to see or do. Need the city need people. Sitting around waiting for death to save you, just not my ideal of living. Spending your day talking to your chickens, naming them that shit was funny

Merry Christmas sir. We live across from you on a small island Panaon in Southern Leyte. It was rough the first few months but our home is almost complete and I have started to enjoy life. I live out in the province aswell, own a few houses, but atleast I'm a 2 hour drive to angeles, civiliation, other Americans, I have to go there atleast twice a month just to feel normal with people, conversating, eating, etc, and I've been here full time 15 years now, you totally isolated yourself, over time that's going to take a big toll on your mental health, when you totally rely on other people for your welfare your putting yourself in a dangerous situation, and your far away from anything, I rely on myself and myself only brother, even in the Philippines, your literally at the mercy of other people, family or not, not good,

So let’s unravel your comment… You said he isolated himself, but is reliant upon others to survive. That doesn’t make sense. Sounds as if you have isolated yourself, by being so self-reliant. Be careful of your mental health.

@@RedneckandPinay lol, I am a member of an American motorcycle club, I ride my bike to manila a few times a month, I goto the angeles vfw a few times a month, I host a monthly bbq at my house to foriegn friends, far from isolated, I can be on a plane and out of the country within 2 hours any day of the week, how's your mental health, lmfao, I bet you got beat up allot as a kid, lmfao

Bro, I've been living in Cebu City with my wife and son for three years. It's not that expensive. I get that maybe your wife wants to live close to her family in the province, but when did YOU lose YOUR vote? You're retired. I'm very confident that you are the primary source of income for your family AND others likely. So WHY would you live in this third world shanty complex? Homeless people in the states live better. I've tried to figure out what your wife has threatened you with to make you live this way but Brian, it's not worth it. This life compared to the days when you went out for breakfast everyday in Angeles City is no comparison. I know your wife was robbed in the city, but her lingering fears cannot drive you to move to this disaster zone. Hey, stuff happens in every city around the world. Being victimized once doesn't mean you crawl in a cave and live like a peasant in miserable isolation. I just feel sad for you man. I know you love your wife. I love mine. But I'm the man of the house. I will never ever live in that situation brother. I'm truly sad and sorry to see you living in such a third world state. You're a long way from a Philly sub now man.

Maganda umaga kumusta brian and lot lot hannah grace and bing and lot lots family. The only way you can stop the water going into your land is dig a trench off the road and about ten feet from the road all the way to the end of your property at the bottom of the other and where your drive way is place some plastic pipe in the the trench and fill around the pipe so it holds it sturdy and then fill the top in enough that it can hold weight over it. Four pieces of long coco lumber or pine then fill over it brian and your water troubles will be sorted it will flow down and through the pipe and down the other end or you could divert it and make a area like a little pond so you can use it for the garden . Or you can get the boys to make channels like they have for cabbages and strawberries to flow along side it will keep the garden moist and grow better . That would be my way of doing it.brian .I know the council should do it but they seen to have other areas there working on. But that could be the answer if the boys dig a trench along the property zone and place pipe near the drive way like a convert back fill it and make it strong enough for trucks or multi cabs to go over it. That should solve the water from flowing through. 🌴🇵🇭 Scott expat in the Philippines 🌴🇵🇭 arleneINDAYLYNZ 🇵🇭 🌴

Other expats with KZbin channels are living large over there or should I say much comfortable with a car rental, a couple motor bikes, and a house rental. I just have to ask if there is something I don't understand? I had watched your channel for years and your channel was the one that kind of got me watching KZbin. I LOVE the RAIN, I would have to say that those that dont like the RAIN dont come to MINDANAO, it rains everyday but only for one or two hours then no rain until the NEXT day, its only WATER, not like its poison or flaming spears dropping down from the skies😆 It seems that those that dont like RAIN are the people that drive in it, I dont drive I walk everywhere and the RAIN washes all the black smut away from the skies that the JEEPNYES spew out along with cleaning the streets from all the URINE left from all the PEE BOYS that seem to relieve themselves on the sidewalks and sides of the roads🤷 If something is miserable than you need to change it to make it unmiserable, I finally bought myself a good, relatively thick plastic RAINCOAT that keeps all my clothes dry and I love walking around when it RAINS, just like all the small, joyful kids😁
