The 23rd Annual Spring Meet at the American Flat Railroad and Mining Company.
This meet featured a 1/8 scale model of a 250T Bucyrus Erie Railroad Crane. The full-size crane had a capacity of 250 Tons at a 17 -1/2’ radius. The model is true to the prototype, with such functions as self -propulsion (high and low speed), rotation (high and low speed), auxiliary hook, main hook, boom up/down. Approx weight is 600lb. The original builder was Bob Reedy (passed 2015), who completed the model to 70%. Chris Smith purchased the crane and is completing it, The crane currently operates on air..
