I'm so grateful AG did this. Kirsten is my favorite Historical character since I was 5. I missed out on her when she retired and she was so expensive on eBay. As soon as they were released I grabbed Kirsten and didn't look back lol

Seeing you unbox these dolls makes me even more excited for my Molly to come! She looks very similar to the Mattel Mollys from before she and Emily retired. I wasn't into AG dolls then, so I don't have that version, but from what I can see here, they do seem to share a lot of similarities. I'm pretty sure you have that version, so let me know what you think! Edit: But I know in your Beforever v. Original Comparison video you stated that that Molly's locket COULD open, so there's one difference I can think of.

I absolutely love my Molly doll! I finally got her braids back in after taking them out. I wouldn't suggest taking them out, unless you(anybody) know how to get them back in. It took me SEVERAL tries to get them back in.

Because, years ago I bought the paper dolls in Boarders and loved the stories about each outfit that I cut out. I really like Samantha, though. Because, I like her time period.

I just saw this video and it is almost a year later! Don't know how I missed it before! I am not always a fan of reproductions but these dolls are beautiful. My favorite is Molly but not her outfit. I have a Pleasant Company Molly (tan body) and I made a dress for her. I also have Kirsten, Kit, Kaya and a newer Samantha. Samantha is from ebay and the rest are from thrift stores. I enjoyed the depth of your video.

they still sell Kit. You can buy her on the American Girl website right now. She wasn't re-released with her original meet outfit because her character was developed once Pleasant Company had been bought by Mattel, so she's not an "original" historical girl
