The release date for AG is not official, so there is hope it’s just a rumor.

My intention is not to cause controversy, but yesterday there was a post on r/American Girl (Reddit community) how the founder is racist towards indigenous people through a 2016 photo. I was so excited for this collab but now I am absolutely shocked American Girl is collaborating with a founder who posted on social media of being insensitive to indigenous peoples. That kind of explains why Kaya is not included in this collaboration and only 5.

Wow I don’t know anything about the owner, she and her daughter seemed super nice at the store event today (BTW I just posted a quick video about the event).. I don’t think racist was the reason to not include Kaya, because Kit and Felicity came out before Kaya, and they aren’t included in most of the merch, just like Kaya.
