My guess is that they are trying to get away from the controversy as much as possible. If they knowingly have it on the website, it looks bad for the brand. This may be their way of trying to wash their hands of it, while still obviously being involved. Very disappointing. Either they didn’t do their research ahead of time or they didn’t care and hoped things wouldn’t come to light before the release. Apparently PP is a company that is known for deleting and blocking any negative comments about orders, customer service, etc. Extremely upsetting practices from both companies.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that there IS something quirky funky going on with KZbin comments right now, where they ARE disappearing from videos after subscribers post them. I had it happen to me twice on the same video. One KZbin-er is always great about replying to comments, so when I didn't hear back from him, I went looking, and couldn't find it. I reached out to the guy who has the channel, and he informed me that others have been having the same issue, and he doesn't know why as he doesn't have any filters on. I also saw a comment from someone else, where they were trying to comment on his current video, but somehow it got attached to a different older video on the same channel. So what's been going on between you and Josefina Sienna, was Not her doing anything out of spite for you both having differing views, but a legitimate issue on KZbin, going on right now.

@rainbowunicorncat1 I thought I missed out on them, but last night I noticed that we're available again on backorder, so I got them. I was on when it first launched for the VIP at 5 of, but Kirsten's plate had already sold out before 11. While I was logging into PayPal, Samantha, Josefina, and Addy sold out. But while I was trying to find something else to get the free shipping Molly sold out. I ended up getting the 2 set glasses and the cheapest fabric item...a toddlers shirt. Really wanted something with the all-over print on it. I wasn't aware they were going to have more come in later, or I would have waited...I got 10% off for being a first time customer, but would have rather used it towards the plates. Would have liked to have gotten Samantha's hair bows as I love her burgundy check pattern, but they sold out, and weren't restocked. Would have been fun to see if Samantha's pajamas would have fit a guy, but most of the clothes were too pricey.

I love this collaboration with Posh Peanut. Thank you for showing us! As for “the controversy” as so many are calling it… If I refrained from purchasing from anyone with differing views from me or only watched YT videos of people who believed exactly as I do, a lot of people I follow would lose my support and I couldn’t shop at some of my favorite stores. Let’s be adults and respect each other even if we are different. It’s ok for people to be different. I have very close friends with opposing political and religious beliefs. I still love them and they feel the same about me. ❤

Life is political. American Girl has always been political. Have you read any of the stories? It's not negativity to discuss the values of a company and decide where you want your money to go. I'd suggest you start talking to your daughter about politics because it affects her whether you want it to or not.

I think people are upset about other things, like that “cowboys and indians” picture, which is now deleted. Also it seems the company doesn’t have the best customer service. To boycott it because of who the owner voted for is silly, the majority people in this country voted for the same person. In the end of the day it’s your decision, if you like the collab (which is super cute and the sizes are very inclusive), you should buy what you like.
