This video makes me jollibee! That fried crispy chicken sounds and looks amazing! The astounding production from Nicole and her 20 person crew makes the Philippines look so great, I must plan a trip with my best buddy!

The gravy is mainly for the fried chicken, we dip the chicken in... but we put it on the rice too 👍

Combo 1: Spicy Chicken joy, jolly spaghetti, yum burger, and peach mango pie Combo 2: Aloha Champ or Spicy Chicken sandwich or Aloha Chicken sandwich, jolly spaghetti, and sundae or any dessert pies (peach-mango pie/ banana-jackfruit pie/ ube pie/ coconut pie) or halo-halo Combo 3: Palabok with calamansi (in other countries they replace it with lemon as it is more common and available), chicken joy, and tuna pie, and pineapple quencher Chicken tenders and mashed potato are not deal-breakers but you may try those. Don’t try the fries as flat-tasting as it is; mix it with other meals or with gravy. Try these hacks: 1. Rice, wrapped with chicken joy skin, topped with fries and pour some gravy 2. Fries dip in sundae 3. Fries dip in gravy 4. rice with gravy 5. Chicken and gravy 6. Chicken burger dip in gravy 7. Yum burger dip in gravy 8. Fries in yum burger 9. Jolly Spaghetti with some fries

Glad that you chose to eat at Jollibee. Please come back to Jollibee anytime. McDonald's may be the world's largest fast food restaurant chain, but Jollibee is the Philippines' leading fast food chain because it caters more to the palate of Filipino customers. Jollibee, especially during Christmas season, has become a Filipino staple forever because it brings the joy of close Filipino family ties together.

Oh yes! Chicken AND gravy does go together. You can either dip/dunk it or pour it over, either way, you did it right. Filipino spaghetti is uniquely and distinctly Filipino. Banana ketchup is used for the sauce. Banana ketchup came about from WW II times where tomatoes where very very scarce. Filipino ingenuity, we made do with what we had. Enjoy your time and btw, most main dishes are made to be eaten with rice. Also, the quintessential dip of soy sauce, vinegar and onion-garlic combo is a MUST for anything that is fried or a very rich and savoury mains. Cheers
@nicolemd332 ай бұрын
Whoa I didn’t know that about the banana ketchup. Now I need to try the spaghetti again with a new perspective. I fell in love with all the vinegar used here. On lumpia is was incredible🤤
@dianallamas71352 ай бұрын
@@nicolemd33vinegar IS the quintessential condiment/flavour enhancer to our cuisine. You cannot go wrong with puttinga little bit if acid on very rich and savoury and most especially fried foods. Let me know if you have any more questions. Happy to help. Btw, you look like a celebrity there named Iza Calzado. She's beautiful just like you you. Cheers

Filipino-style spaghetti started off as a poor man's bolognese in the 1940s-60s. The usual meat and sauce ingredients were expensive, so substitutions were made to lower costs. Hotdogs to cut down on minced meat quantity, and banana ketchup to make up for the shortage of tomato supplies. The sweetness is generally a result of tweaking to suit local taste preferences
@davidogden837014 күн бұрын
Most philipinos dont put the gravy on there rice . The gravy is more for dipping the chicken in .. oh and the burgersteak also comes in the breakfast menu .. comes with the rice and gravy plus a fried egg. The spaghetti sauce is sweeter than us westerners are use to plus they do put hot dogs in there spaghetti. But i did like the spicy chicken....

Too bad they didn’t have the chicken sandwich supreme-this is “the chicken sandwich” that you hear about, not the one you got, unfortunately. It’s been unavailable for months now. It’s definitely far superior to the crispy chicken sandwich. It basically tastes like the chickenjoy in a sandwich. I wish you had been able to taste it. And hope it comes back soon!
