This is my American Graffiti deuce coupe model by Revell. It is a metal die cast body kit. The body, fenders, and grille all come pre-painted for you. I added plug wires, gas lines, detailed the chrome on the passenger's door, washes on the rims, holes in the steering wheel, etc. This kit has a lot of correct parts on it. This kit is way more movie accurate like we get the motor, gauges, gear shift, gas/brake pedals, exhaust, lights, plates, seats, door panels, mirrors, etc.
Few problems my kit had with it was it was keep in a basement setting. The decals need to be sprayed with Testors decal spray, and clear coat. I did this to be on the safe side. From the kit being boxed for 18 year the fenders had some paint wear off from sliding back and forth. The chrome firewall was dulled down a bit, and had some minor imperfections. I'm not saying every kit will have these problems, but mine did.
There were some details missing. The steering wheel didn't have 3 holes on it. I did find one thing that was not movie accurate. That was on the drivers door there is no chrome strip. This strip is not there in either Graffiti 1 or 2, but on the franklin mint car. I wanted my kit to look more like the real coupe. I filled in the area, and now it matches the car.
Overall really nice kit, nice detail, and looks great in an american graffiti display. This kit was also much easier to build compared to the AMT model. I also added 3 photos of the kits together so you could see the AMT 2003 and the Revell 2000 kits together.
