In this video we will take a look at the new American Hat Company 40x Evergreen hat. We know it’s tough out there in a lot of states. We are doing our best to find all the really good stores that are hidden around the country.

Exactly! I live in San Diego and there isnt one shop here that sells American hats. Even worse there isn’t any shops that actually shape hats. There is one shop in Chula Vista called El Centario. They have orders in for hats but haven’t received anything in over a year. I’ve been wanting to get a shaped American hat but it looks like I’ll just have to settle with pre-shaped hats ordered online.

I’m in Southern AZ and we don’t have many either, and we have ranches and farms and a lot of people who wear them. All we have close to us in Pinal County is Boot Barn.

I have lots of brands and Lucchese are still by far the best. My second favorite are R Watson and I prefer those more now in that the quality is great for the price.

Throughly enjoy your videos, especially this series. Unfortunately no shops around my area to get an open crown hat shaped. I've ordered 3 open crown hats online. One is an American felt and looks and fits pretty well, but sadly the other two (an Atwood felt and an American straw) look ridiculous. Do you know if Double R Hat House does hats for guys who don't live in the area? Emilio did an excellent job on your hat.
